I won't be told how the angel will help me, and then years later I discover the part they are meant to play.

Hello to all my beautiful friends. I am praying for you all, always.

I love walking. Every chance I get, I take some time to go outside for a nice walk. One day a few years ago, I was out walking and passed a small Protestant church on the far side of the road.

There were several people walking across the yard of the church towards the front gate, chatting away. I could see the light of their guardian angels right behind them. I wasn't really taking much notice until I suddenly heard an angel call out my name. I looked up to see Angel Hosus, one of the angels who has been a part of my life since childhood.

"Lorna, stop and look over at the church again," Angel Hosus said.

I turned to look closer, watching the church carefully. An angel stepped out of the front door of the church. This angel was very tall and gave a female appearance. She was radiant, translucent, and much bigger than the door of the church. In that moment it was as if the archway and door of the church disappeared for the angel. Instead, I saw what looked like a giant golden replica of the church that was much bigger than the physical church itself.

The angel walked towards me and then stopped, standing in the yard of the church. Her clothing was made of what looked like lots of little mirrors of different sizes. I could see such depth within the mirrors, each one moving ever so gently as if there was a constant breeze, reflecting little sparks of silver light. It was so beautiful to see.

The angel's eyes were beautiful like stars, shining with a glorious light but no color. Her hair was silver and short in length. For me, the most incredible thing about this angel was her wings. They were long, slender, and absolutely enormous, constantly moving as if they were breathing in the air around them. At first I thought her wings were made of feathers, but as I looked more closely I realized the wings were composed of many delicate strands of mirrors. These "feathers" were all different sizes, moving and turning and reflecting a brilliant light. It was dazzling.

Suddenly, a beam of light came from above the trees that surrounded the church. This beam of light covered the angel and she began moving upwards into the sky. When she reached the top of the church, she disappeared with the light.

I stood there across from the church, feeling a sense of amazement, and confusion. I turned to Angel Hosus, who was still beside me.

"Hosus, who is that angel?" I asked.

Angel Hosus smiled at me but gave no answer.

"Enjoy the rest of your walk, Lorna," he said before disappearing.

I looked back at the little church and realized that all the people were gone. I walked away, asking God who the angel was. He gave me no answer, either.

I believe I will meet this angel again, and that she is an angel who has come to help me with some aspect of my life in the future. I have often been introduced to angels in this way. I won't be told how the angel will help me, and then years later I discover the part they are meant to play.

You may not be able to see angels, but I know God sends special angels into your life at certain times to help you with extraordinary circumstances. Angels are a sign of hope. There is always an angel that can help you, regardless of what is going on in your life.

All you have to do is ask. You do not need to know what the angel is for; just ask and your guardian angel will call in the help you need. Isn't it wonderful to know there is abundance of help? To me it seems so strange, and sad, that so many people don't make use of this gift.
