January 26th ~ February 2nd

For the past 5 months that Uranus has been in its retrograde phase we were acclimating ourselves to a new order. Either we were adjusting to changes that were occurring, or we were preparing ourselves for the changes that we knew were well nigh due, and would be facing in 2024. But in some way our lives have been evolving and preparing, and situating us in such a way that we would be ready for whatever new reality will be emerging this year. 

Pluto only just re-entered Aquarius on January 20th, and with Uranus (the modern ruling planet for the sign of Aquarius) we may yet get a glimpse into the future, and what that may mean for us both individually and collectively. The Full Moon on the 25th in the sign of Leo was also shining a light on the possibilities that are about to unfold. 

As Uranus stations on January 27th, it does so with a strong trine to Mercury and Mars in Capricorn. This is what is bringing this all home. This is what is making this personal for a lot of people. And so we all might want to ask ourselves: What is being woken up again? What is being illuminated? And are there any changes that may even feel like something of a turning point in your life? 

Pluto entering the Uranus sign of Aquarius will gradually allow you to break any patterns in your life that have been preventing you from living your life more freely and authentically. But as we make the transition, there will still be a part of you that will want to stay with what you are familiar with. While another part of you is being inexorably drawn in a direction that will allow you to more fully to express that authentic self. 

The theme for this Lunar month which began with the New Moon in Capricorn on January 11th, is one of being at a crossroads between the Old and the New. This week Mercury and Mars are at the bending of the Nodes, looking back from where we’ve come, while looking with greater conviction to the possibilities of the future. We are asked to be brave and courageous in our choices this week. For what we learn at the Uranus station can ultimately lead to remarkable changes in our lives that can last for years. 

Our road map for the year ahead is still being written. And what we learn this week can make a difference as to exactly what that road map will look like. This may require us to go off road, to consider new possibilities. To be open to change. And so many may ask this week: 

• What new insights have I been having? 
• How have these insights influenced my goals, and/or Vision for the Future? 
• What am I ultimately wanting to achieve? and Why?
• What steps am I able to take that will allow me to live a freer, truer and more authentic life and lifestyle?
