Neptune Enters Aries Shifting Reality

Neptune Enters Aries Shifting Reality

Yes, Neptune is again entering Aries for the first time since 1875. This has broad and profound implications for our entire world.

We've begun a long, strange journey that will lead humanity along new spiritual lines that happen only once every 150-160 years. It is also where we now begin long range productivity in the 500 year sub-Age that began 1888-1894, and have entered the “harvest period” where seeds of the future are being prepared which will develop between now and 2052-2057 at the Neptune return to that launch point.

This singularly important event occurs at 5 am PDT, 1 pm BST March 30. It will move forward and go stationary retrograde on July 4 at 3 Aries, the avatar degree. Then it retrogrades back until it re-enters Pisces on October 22. So here we get the front end experience of what will dominate 2026 through 2038 when it will enter Taurus.

This long wave "sea change" will shift collective consciousness away from the drifting, confused fog of Neptune in Pisces and offer us a new fiery initiative in collective consciousness. We had a collective focus on materialism when Neptune was in Capricorn, the electronic village when Neptune was in Aquarius, and the ghosts of the past and widespread gaslighting during Neptune in Pisces.

On the positive side, Neptune in Pisces brought enhanced intuition and connectivity, explorations of the subconscious (both individual and collective), and non-linear "knowing" into focus. And as it evident, it also resulted in mass delusions, hysteria, ungrounded belief systems, and superstitious faiths willing to betray their spiritual underpinnings.

This all changes as we launch into the impatient, assertive, and bold energies of Neptune in Aries. This will open us to new ways to act on our greater sense of “at-one-ment” using dynamic compassion and an ability to move quickly instead of procrastinate. I suspect with the collective crises and decisions coming in the next era, there will not be as much equivocation and gullibility as there was in the past era. When Neptune’s in Aries, action speaks louder than suffering!

Neptune in Aries

Imagine you’ve been in a dreamscape for many years, an ocean enveloped in fogs and storms with no clear direction. This was Neptune in Pisces. We’ve been in a place where shapes and forms blurred together in a vast feeling field, swimming in an all-enveloping fluid environment.

In this dreamscape we’ve navigated feelings of oneness and distinctness, togetherness and separateness, where past, present and future merged in an all-encompassing experience, where any pollution or disturbance in the field is felt by all creatures in that field simultaneously. In the ocean of Pisces, the dreams of past, present, and future all exist at the same time.

With Neptune entering Aries, we now find ourselves stepping out of the ocean on to the beach, where we can finally stand on solid ground instead of drifting with the tides. While Pisces can be disoriented in its vastness, Aries has a one pointed focus in the here and now. The past slips away as the present moment comes forth. Ambivalence gives way to direct action. Concealment gives way to self-initiated honest responses.

While Neptune in Pisces was in one of the signs it rules on the spiritual level, Neptune in fiery Aries finds itself in a favorable sign to express Neptune’s Sagittarius energies and a confirmatory sign for its Pisces energies. Neptune in Aries replaces any tendency to suffer with an urgency to correct whatever is causing the suffering. It is grounded, expressive, and dynamic.

Neptune’s entry into Aries will bring new collective mythologies into fashion, new ideas and attitudes globally which will be far different than any we’ve known for many decades. The last time Neptune was in a Fire sign was when it was in Sagittarius between 1970 and 1984, which offered all of us a clearer promise than anything we’ve seen in the last 14 years during its time in Pisces.

Neptune is the common feeling-field, Aries is the sign of direct action. We can expect a lot more natural, unedited, and direct thinking, feeling, and doing than we have in many years. Whereas Capricorn and Aquarius are more calculated, and Pisces is surrounded by fogs and ghosts, Aries “breaks on through to the other side.”

We will get a taste of Neptune in Aries between April and October, after which Neptune will return to the common feeling-field in Pisces. That means the next few months gives us a front end look at what’s coming, with many doing their “dress rehearsal” before stepping into a new worldly role in 2026. In October, we’ll begin our last look at the past, and check in with our conscience and review how separate we feel or don’t before we jump feet first into the new era in January 2026.

As Neptune changes signs, our collective myths change as well. We keep busting old ones and creating new ones, many of which are no more “real” than the ones we discard. We’ve seen a lot of religious myths destroyed the past 15 years, as it’s become clear that the myth of Jesus Christ, associated with Pisces, is no longer accepted by millions who now believe His Piscean virtues are a sign of weakness and “wokeness.” Compassion for the poor and the immigrant, being empathic and sharing with others has been replaced with “let them suffer because we, the wealthy, say they deserve it.” Many think the poor are victimizing society, when the opposite is true. That’s the downside of Pisces. When “leaders” say empathy is bad for society, then you know that evil has a microphone.

These end days of Pisces are showing the dying gasp of obsolete belief systems that insist they must convert you, exile you, or kill you if you don't agree with them. Religions and other belief systems have been exposed for their truth or hypocrisy, but it’s also been a time when gaslighting has become a widespread technique to confuse fact and fiction. This all changes with Neptune in Aries because the sign of Aries is straightforward, wants to get to the heart of the matter, and is a sign without guile.

Because Aries loathes duplicity and betrayal more than just about anything else (being a reaction to those Piscean qualities), the coming era will not be a time when gaslighting will be allowed a pass without a firm response. There will be challenges to many collective myths and assumptions during Neptune’s time in Aries, with a war like atmosphere pervading the times, but also a desire to move into something new and more effective than the dysfunctional belief systems which have dominated the past 15 years.

What Grant Lewi and Marc Edmund Jones Say About Neptune in Aries

Grant Lewi, in his masterwork Astrology For The Millions, says

This position makes you a great individualist, for the subconscious is always whispering to you about your own importance. This can be anything from a creative genius to a bumptious egotist. Mind power is great and must be carefully controlled. You can invent things for personal glory and mass benefit. You can dominate those around to their ruin and your own. You can give up your life to service, or you can make others give up their lives serving you.

Self-deception is especially dangerous, for your subconscious intrudes between you and reality, and you miss the facts of life by being too impressed your interpretations of them, which can be far from right. You need to become detached and objective, and this require deep awareness and hard mental work, for you tend to follow hunches and instincts and to rule out the reasonable things which might help you. You have a fine courageous spirit; your self-confidence makes you a rock of strength, and through proper control of inner, subconscious forces you are a big influence in whatever sphere you move.

As this will pervade collective consciousness, it’s easy to see how some who are already playing to “self-deception” will believe themselves more aware, more powerful, or more able to determine who should serve what than others. Of course, those who are detached and secure in who they are will find their perfect place to serve, and may become the embodiment of courage, strength, and self-discipline though their objectivity and clarity of mind.

Marc Edmund Jones, in his masterwork Astrology: How and Why It Works, says “Neptune in Aries requires a characteristic conformity by the native to his astrological generation with its over-all culture of personality per se. He is able to achieve his own desires fully when he demonstrates the genius of this individualistic type. A contribution of this group in America was the establishment of Spiritualism, Christian Science, and Theosophy as a recrudescence of creative personality.”(Recrudescence is “breaking out afresh or into renewed activity; revival or reappearance in active existence.”)

This implies that Neptune in Aries will bring a fresh collective atmosphere with new ideas in fashion, new mystical or spiritual initiatives, new understanding of previously hidden realms, and intensified feelings. Many will be inclined to go their own way and do their own thing, with less group-think and group agreement needed by individuals as they discover the invisible world on their own terms. Of course, this can produce egotists who believe they’re right and everybody else is wrong who will argue on the basis of their delusions rather than facts.

I expect a lot of collective proactive efforts to right wrongs and correct past problems left to drift before now. I also expect a lot of collective agitation with a general atmosphere of people wanting to “get things done.” Reform efforts will be in the air, with a lot of contention between those who want to destroy the public health and those who want quicker access to health benefits.

There will be less indulgence of gaslighting and other fogging efforts to conceal wrongdoing, as impatience will be in the air, with a general desire to fix what’s not working. And there will definitely be challenges to obsolete ideologies and beliefs which cannot be substantiated by positive action. I expect fewer excuses and a lot more demands for action!

So prepare for a dress rehearsal over the next few months for what’s coming in 2026 and beyond. We’ve learned to “sail the seas and know the tides” while Neptune was in Pisces. And clearly, we have procrastinated past the “fail safe” point in time when we could have corrected environmental imbalances and begun redeeming the health of the planet. I suspect the need for collective direct action will become an urgent matter these next 15 years!

I'll do more articles on this vast subject from time to time. There are many stories to tell, many myths to examine, many collective assumptions that need reviewing and renewing or removing. Neptune in Aries will help us become more aware and connected through direct actions and pioneering efforts, and hopefully, jumpstart the stabilization of the planet, since ultimately we're all in this boat together.

I'll close today with a saying from my days in Austin back in the 60s and 70s, "Onward through the fog." And sometimes, when we don't rely too heavily on our 5 senses and our minds, we can know without thinking, and flow without effort. There are mysteries to be discovered, feelings to share, and new mythologies to be constructed for a new world now emerging as we move into “The Spring of the 21st Century.”
