Astrology Signs: Instinctive Reactions to Life's Encounters
- Details
- Written by Robert Wilkinson
I was going through the archives and this short piece jumped out at me.
It was buried in a ton of Christmas postings in 2021, and since it may open your imagination, I figured I’d repost it today.
It was originally inspired by a flash of inspiration related to how the different signs react when something is presented to them. Because we have many other signs in our personality than just our Sun, of course you can adapt these brief takes according to which planet you have in a sign. Hopefully, these short bites can help you understand why you and others respond the way you do.
The first in each was my initial hit. The second sprang to mind at various points in composing this piece. The third (without quote marks) came to me as I composed this.
- Aries: “What can I do about it?” “What can I do with this?” Where does this go?
- Taurus: “How can I enjoy it?” “What is this worth?” Will this bring me comfort?
- Gemini: “What can I discover about it?” “How can I communicate this?” Is this something I need to know?
- Cancer: “How can I feel secure given this?” “How does this fit into my comfort zone?” How can I make this my own?
- Leo: “How can this help me express myself?” “How can this help me take the lead?” Does this fit into my realm?
- Virgo: “How can I perfect it?” “How does this fit into the plan?” Can this help me do something more efficiently?
- Libra: “How can I make this more pleasing?” “How can I make this more fair?” How do I respond with style?
- Scorpio: “What is behind this?” “What needs to be eliminated from this?” Does this support or oppose my desire?
- Sagittarius: “What does this lead to? Where is this going?” Is this fun or boring?
- Capricorn: “How can this be managed?” “How does this fit into established policy?” How can I use this to advance?
- Aquarius: “What purpose does this serve?” “How does this contribute to a greater good?” Is this worth doing?
- Pisces: “How does this relate to what we’re all going through?” “How does this ending or beginning fit into the movie?” How does this indicate the end of something?
