There are soul connections that transcend time and space. 

It weaves intricate patterns of "destiny", interweaving life paths across multiple timelines, tied together by a cosmic thread and dancing through various eras.

Finding someone with whom the connection is instantaneous, sometimes intense, always irrational, but familiar, is often because it is just that: familiar.  It's the recognition of a distant past, lifting an invisible veil as if they've known each other for eons, each heart resonating with ancient echoes that reverberate through time.

As exciting and unnerving as they are, not all encounters are meant to be lasting, nor do they mean, despite the powerful and impactful presence in your life, to become romantic, even if the charge is brilliant, visceral and all that. Eros awakened, senses animated, pupils dilated, his omniscient presence filling the space when your eyes close.  It's very similar to love.  And it is.  But then again, that doesn't mean it's meant to be the physically charming and creepy hugger between unhappy lovers.

Love is the currency that binds souls together.  But love is vaster than the whims and desires of the ego, the desire for union and the hunger to be with each other.  Love is shown in many different ways, but there is no doubt that love is charged and meaningful.  And a connection with someone whose timeline is intertwined with yours; a connection with the essence of another whose path extends beyond the known and familiar here and now; a connection with a member of your soul family is truly irrational and at the same time familiar.

And you know it's true, because there are many people in your life with whom the bonds of familiarity extend beyond the perimeters of physical time.

But we live in a world incapable of framing these connections and so confusion can reign, as the consuming desire to initially be in that person's presence can threaten to destabilize your equanimity and take you beyond the walls of familiarity and replenish your soul, tired of the ordinary and everyday.

Many of these connections seem destined, and it's natural to assume that there must be a history between the two of you, a previous intimate connection that needs to be teased out or a kinship that extends beyond the normal bonds of chance encounters.  Each soul that incarnates is working on their own lessons and growth in this lifetime.  Soul-family connections are those souls whose paths intertwine with ours, whose worldview, experiences and ideas are necessary for our own path, whether their presence and/or message is delivered in a painful or joy-filled way.

Often, these more intense encounters are due to interactions that need healing, or between two souls who need to work through patterns and scripts that were not resolved in "previous encounters".

Some of these connections manifest as romantic bonds, but they are often not destined to become romantic, despite the power and strength of the feelings awakened.

There are many factors at play, including life commitments and the circumstances of both individuals, which could prevent a full exploration of their soul connection.  Existing commitments, responsibilities or other relationships that need to be respected and prioritized could confuse the two, given the level of familiarity of this connection.  In such situations, it is necessary to respect the time and boundaries present in these previous connections, as it may be that the purpose of meeting in this lifetime is simply to support and learn from each other in different ways, rather than seeking a loving relationship.

Although it can be challenging and confusing, it is essential to trust in divine timing and the lessons that these soul connections bring.  Sometimes the greatest growth and healing can come from accepting and appreciating the connection as it arises, rather than trying to force it into a specific mold.

These soul connections serve a higher purpose in your life, even if they don't align with your expectations or desires.  They can bring profound lessons, healing and transformation, regardless of the nature of the relationship.  Sometimes, simply recognizing and acknowledging your soul connection can be enough to trigger significant growth and self-discovery, and its impact on your spiritual journey is truly transformative.

The blending of these extraordinary connections that span multiple lifetimes is a testament to the inherent wonder of life.  Soul-bonding synchronicities remind you that our souls are not bound by the limitations of time and space.  Instead, your soul is an eternal being forever intertwined with other souls whose presence ignites a flame - a flame that burns brightly across multiple timelines, lighting the way to spiritual growth and understanding.
