We are now entering the heart of Mars opposed Pluto with both squared by Jupiter in Taurus conjunct the North Node which is happening over the next several days. While a powerful integrative configuration, it’s not the only thing happening, and it should actually produce great results if we know how to focus the energies.

First, take a breath and remember that a transit to transit aspect is generic. Second, a T-square generates integrative energy. Third, there’s also a Sun sextile Mars, helping strengthen our Mars response. Each of us will shift our Mars responses from Cancer to Leo, so we can expect this to provide a burst of fire energies wherever it is transiting in our charts.

As Mars is at 1 Leo, Jupiter is at 1 Taurus, and Pluto is at 1 Aquarius, wherever you have these early Fixed sign degrees in your chart is what's stimulated. The problem and/or the solution is found in the void at 1 Scorpio, implying that to use this configuration skillfully, we need to shape a positive magnetic response, deepen our connection with Self, Source, and each other, and welcome new ways of relating to others.

Oppositions yield awareness, with polarizations needing to be relieved through third and fourth point “energy building” aspects. Squares are challenges to act correctly, whether to turn a corner, put on the brakes, accept a new direction, or some other sort of action at a crucial turn of events. This will most impact planets and points in the last 3 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, the first 3 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, and 13-17 Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. If you have planets or points in any of these areas, be cautious while remembering “right action” is key to success.

Mars square Jupiter and Jupiter square Pluto are both waxing squares, showing “first emergence” of Mars activating Jupiter and Jupiter activating the expansion of the Plutonic seeds. I explained more about the emergent expansive Plutonic seeds in the article Jupiter in Taurus square Pluto in Aquarius. This is the big news of the moment, and this major square will be in play through the end of May.

Mars square Jupiter comes after Jupiter square Pluto and Mars opposed Pluto, so Mars is keeping the Jupiter/Pluto energy in motion until the end of May. I explained some of the mechanics of how this works in the above article where I offered:

Mars opposed Pluto gives a need to get around inhibiting conditions, avoid corrosive or dishonest people, and be alert to the seeds of the future you glimpse while this opposition is in play between May 17-28. Find the right means to accomplish what you know you need to do, don’t get bogged down in misdirected efforts, and see anything new or unusual which comes forth as having unsuspected value. Practice tolerance, and if things look like they’re escalating, be calm as you de-magnetize yourself from the escalation.

Mars opposing Pluto and then squaring Jupiter May 19-25 keeps Jupiter square Pluto activated, with lessons around not getting involved in hassles and contentions which shouldn’t be your business, and doing things in grand style if “forced to perform.” Cultivate assurance in the face of enormous pressures, refuse all which is petty, and see where your best play is. As the T-square will be close the entire second half of May, pay attention to the times the Moon activates the T when it transits the early degrees of the Fixed signs. They are May 17 (Moon in Taurus), May 24 (Moon in Leo) and May 31/June 1 with Moon in Scorpio square Pluto, opposed Jupiter, and square Mars. That pretty much ends the T-square influence.

So What Good Can Come From this T-square?

The other factor in this equation is that if we have planets at the end of Pisces or beginning of Aries, the end of Taurus and beginning of Gemini, the end of Virgo and beginning of Libra, and the end of Scorpio and beginning of Sagittarius then this is an extraordinarily favorable T-square, since those planets harmonize the Mars opposed Pluto which release the dynamic productivity and understanding through the square to Jupiter, a very favorable thing!

Add that Jupiter in early Taurus is harmonizing to planets and points we have around 1-5 Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces which allows the positive Jupiter response to release into the Scorpio void, and that if we have any active points near 1-3 Leo/Aquarius, 5-9 Virgo/Pisces, 11-15 Libra/Aries, 17-21 Scorpio/Taurus, 23-27 Sagittarius/Gemini, and 29-30 Capricorn/Cancer, those parts of our lives will find unique gifts and blessings, some personal and others interactive.

Productive aspects help shape the awareness and expression of transit to transit oppositions. To that end we see Sun in Gemini trine Pluto and sextile Mars, throwing a very productive and harmonizing energy into early Sagittarius in our charts. So the Sun acts as a builder and stabilizer for the Mars opposed Pluto, while Jupiter acts as a release valve for that positive energy. Productive aspects are released in the squares.

So take heart, as a lot of good can come out of whatever strife or conflict is indicated by the evolutionary configuration. And even if things seem to crumble, I am reminded of something I once read. Socrates is reputed to have said that he could bring any group of people into a common room and ask them to put their worst sorrow on a common table, and each would be happy to leave carrying only their own.

Learning to deal with inner and outer conflicts is part of life. Having a hard time is a natural part of the human condition, as is the need to overcome any attachment to “having a hard time.” Still, any hard time we may have is also in that moment a memory slipping into the future. Don't sweat what can't be solved by your sweating. Find the right point of view and many things become clear.

In any case, this T-square will shake a lot loose from the way it was, with some things slipping away and other things arriving in life areas where this T-square is happening. It’s just a challenge for you to BE your Higher Self, regardless of how dramatic or innocuous this energy manifests.
