Fingers Of God, Yods, For Years To Come.

In my recent article on the Quincunx, I spoke of several ways that Yods are created when we have a quincunx or a sextile in play, whether natally, by progression, or by transits. Today we take a look at what’s been launched for the first time this Summer which will be repeated for years to come.

The Neptune/Pluto Based Yod

Up until just a few months ago, Neptune had not been in a close sextile with Pluto since 1994. They are now in sextile again until 2036-2037. Currently Neptune is in late Pisces and Pluto is in late Capricorn, creating a “Yod void” in late Leo. That has been the “nozzle” for the multiple “expansion through sacrifice” energies we’ve all been navigating since Venus set off the first Finger of God in late July when she quincunxed both Neptune and Pluto from late Leo when going stationary retrograde.

So Venus brought us the first Yod from around July 9 through August 4. During that time Mercury and Venus made their third conjunction in their series at 29 Leo, bringing a Mercurial element to the Venusian nozzle. The Sun became the nozzle for the Neptune/Pluto anchored Yod between August 18-22, and the final trigger for this Yod this year will be October 2-4.

The productive base involves Neptune and Pluto, the invisible spiritual unifier and purifier. The nozzle is how these express through sacrifices which “squeeze out” anything in the nozzle which would distort the spiritual signal from the base. So we’ve all had a lot of things squeezed out of our late Leo sector these past 2 months!

The important thing is that this sextile will be going for 13 more years, with a brief “out of sign sextile” from late January through late August 2024. They’ll be back in late Pisces/Cap in September, October, and November 2024, when they’ll again be out of sign through March 2025. Then Neptune in Aries is sextile Pluto in Aquarius through 2036 except for late 2025 when they’re again out of sign.

The out-of-sign Yods blend different energies, and span four different combinations of energies. When Neptune is in Pisces while Pluto is in Aquarius, the Yod begins in late Leo but extends to early Virgo. That implies the nozzle has a “dual function” beginning with sacrificing something Leo and then something Virgo.

So each month when the Moon is in late Leo and each year when the planets transit late Leo, Yods are set into motion this year and next. Then when the sextile is from early Aries to early Aquarius, the “Yod void” will be in early Virgo, set into motion by the Moon and inner planet transits. Look for some spectacular “expansions through sacrifices” when Jupiter transits early Virgo and makes its Yod with Neptune and Pluto in August 2027! As this Yod will have been initiated by Mars in late May and early June, take note, since what “erupts” or is “squeezed out” in August can be anticipated by early June.

The Uranus/Neptune Based Yod

Until July, Uranus and Neptune had been in septile for many months. Since then, Uranus has begun making its long term sextile to Neptune from late Taurus to late Pisces, creating a “Yod void” in late Libra. This is the first year of many where we get “tag team Yods” set into motion via Leo and then shortly after by Libra!

As Uranus and Neptune are sometimes in a wide sextile, the Yod is off-set slightly in time, like a “dual pulse call and response” at work. This sextile will be in play through 2029. While Uranus is in Taurus and Neptune’s in Pisces, the Yod void is in late Libra. That means in 2023, it will be set into motion in late September when Mars quincunxes Uranus followed by its quincunx to Neptune the first few days of October. Mercury and the Sun will become the nozzle for the dual pulse Yod in the third week of October and Venus is the last inner planet nozzle in late November. Of course, as with the other Yod, the Moon makes Yods each month.

Their sextile is closer by the Summer of 2024, with both still in the late degrees of their signs. Venus makes its Yod September 20-23, 2024, Mercury makes its Yod October 10-13, and the Sun makes its Yod October 17-23.

That Yod goes out of sign when Neptune enters Aries April 2025, creating a nozzle void across late Libra into early Scorpio. That lasts until July 2025 when Uranus enters Gemini, creating a remarkable “three note chord of productive consciousness” with Uranus in early Gemini, Saturn and Neptune in early Aries, and Pluto in early Aquarius, setting up a “Great Sextile” energy with resonant points in early Leo, early Libra, and early Sagittarius.

It again goes out of sign about two weeks in late October and early November when Neptune goes back to late Pisces, and is back in sign when Uranus goes into Taurus for the last time in November 2025. So the Yod is still in late Libra in 2024, while the Mars Yod in September 2025 is in early Scorpio, as is the early October Mercury Yod. The Sun and Venus Yods span late Libra and early Scorpio.

As you can see, we’ll have pretty much non-stop Yods for several years to come during the transits of late Leo and early Virgo, as well as late Libra and early Scorpio. And of course, the Moon focuses the nozzle twice each month!
