The unusually strong Solar activity of late has also brought to the surface our buried weaknesses, latent imbalances (in some cases craziness), old unresolved grief, and emotional wounds, There are unfortunately no other magic cures than to face the music, put our lives in order, rest as much as possible, and drink lots of water. All an uncomfortable, yet necessary, cleansing to enter the next big cosmic chapter happening this week-end.

Whenever a slower moving planet changes signs, a new cycle begins which affects all of us collectively, regardless of our personal horoscope. Jupiter being the fastest of the transpersonal planets, his influence in any given sign lasts only a year, but because he opens our mind to other cultures, expands our consciousness, encourages us to develop a more philosophical and religious approach, demands justice and integrity, and brings prosperity, his effects are most noticeable. Jupiter will enter Gemini on May 25, 2024, and will stay in that sign for a little over a year, until June 9, 2025.

During the coming year, our mental awareness, versatility, broadmindedness, love of change, and insistence on the truth will increase. The thirst for knowledge, the need for real information, and an ever-mounting urge to connect the dots and in the larger scheme of things, find the meaning behind experience, will dominate. We shall be made more and more aware of the corruption of the media, how controlled information has become, the manipulations, and the devastating influence of censorship. Because we shall require actual news and not propaganda or made-up stories, honest independent journalism will be on the rise, appealing to the masses in unique ways. Writers, speakers, correspondents, and social commentators will take risks to explore unpopular ideas and share with honesty what is really going on. A deep sense of the public’s aspirations will help weave a new creation in society.

Our enhanced curiosity will lead us to want to read more, listen and observe better. We shall perceive quickly who is who and the real meaning conveyed by their words. This is an excellent cycle to learn a new language, develop a craft, enroll in an advanced training or further our studies. An increased desire to travel, connect with people from all nationalities, cultures, religions, and walks of life, as well as grow through the development of our ingenuity, a wide range of skills, and a variety of interests helps us develop a clearer philosophy of life and adopt higher standards of behavior. In our day-to-day reality, we shall seek experiences that expand our perception of the world, enable us to demonstrate more generosity of spirit, and increase our level on consciousness.

On the negative side, prejudiced religious, educational, or cultural viewpoints could lead to intellectual pride, rash words, and much controversy. Restlessness, superficiality , an unfocused mental attitude, indiscretion, a tendency to fill our lives with useless facts and a pointless busy-ness, a lack of discrimination, skepticism alternating with excessive credulity, as well as diffuse, scattered mental interests could seriously impede our progress. During this cycle, a careless attitude towards life, acquiring a ton of meaningless facts, gathering too many unrelated details, applying ideas with little concern for their practicality, talking too much, and promising more than we can possibly deliver, are very definite dangers.

Border problems will come under scrutiny. Issues related to mass immigration -especially illegal immigration, will come to the forefront. Frauds, blatant lies, political corruptions, embezzlements of public funds, and circumventions of the law will be exposed.

Social reforms as well as laws promoting a better social justice are likely to be proposed. A deep interest in improving the schooling system will emerge. A need to share abstract ideas concisely both verbally and in writing, as well as focus our mental energy constructively, prevails. Inventors, teachers, students, lecturers, editors, publishers, people engaged in the promotional exchange of ideas, in social medias, publicity or sales… are all favored. Our understanding of the importance of good communication with a wish to leave no stone unturned will likely lead to renewed diplomatic efforts resulting in very real negotiations.
