This is a beautiful opportunity to embrace self-reflection, allowing us to shine a light on the subtle nuances that may have previously gone unnoticed. Remember, every relationship holds the potential for positive evolution, and with a gentle shift in perception and communication, we can unlock significant improvements. So, let us embrace this moment as Divine Changemakers, taking proactive steps to enhance our relationships and enrich our lives through connection and compassion.

The other key piece is understanding that each relationship we have is like a jewel for our awakening. That's because relationships are needed to grow and see ourselves more clearly. Without that mirror, we get lost in seeking the self-understanding needed to evolve and create a joyful life experience.

We live in an unprecedented moment for humanity - with our world often feeling unstable and our relationships getting rocky as we navigate the uncertainties and challenges. No previous generations had this conundrum. Let's each see this as an opportunity to apply our spiritual warrior self, having the courage to look at ourselves through the eyes of compassion and love. As we do this, we can see relationship dynamics in a brand-new way - taking the 'personal element' out of things and learning to find middle ground.

Your Tools To Navigate Relationships With Others

Given what I shared above, here are some essential tools for navigating relationships with others in these moments.

(1) Intend to listen as much as you speak to others. Deep listening allows you to notice both words, body language, and other nuances during communications. Allow your intuition to help you interpret what you are taking in - intentionally keeping your ego in the back seat so it's not chiming in with negativity.

(2) Allow space to respond to what someone says before you comment. Automatic responses, based on either past communications or assumptions of what the person meant, tend to backfire.

(3) If you find yourself stressed communicating with someone, remember to breathe and keep breathing as you engage. The breath can be your lifeline, allowing moments for you to be present to yourself and what you want to say.

(4) Bring your self-awareness into each conversation - whether it's in your head before you speak, or when communicating. As you do this over time, you will discover your personal patterns - dysfunctional and functional - involving certain people and situations. This is like GOLD!

(5) If emotions get the better of you - and you realize it during a communication - take a brief time out to settle. Sometimes it's your own astrology involved, potentially triggering unproductive reactions and words you cannot take back. Understanding your own astrology is very helpful in these situations. For this reason, I help my 1-1 session clients and Divine Changemaker course students become skilled in tracking their own energies.
