Aries

As your ruling planet Mars meanders its way through Pisces, it may have felt as if you have come to a dead end, or even a dead stop. You become more aware of your limitations. Or perhaps you come to the realization that what you had wistfully hoped to be true, was not realistic. Or maybe you are just feeling overwhelmed by your current set of circumstances. But Aries is rarely defeated, and all they need is a mere glimmer of hope. The mere essence of possibility, and you are back in the game (whatever that game may be!). Part of that could include accepting your current limitations or hindrances as part of what we all have to deal with in this great adventure we call life. And then there’s this other thing that comes in the guise of a sudden awareness or opportunity that causes you to shift gears. This could find you picking up the pace in order to take advantage of certain opportunities. And if by chance you find the spotlight shining on you, allow yourself to bask a bit, even if it is from behind the curtain. Let it roll over you. In some way you are being shown the ways in which you are valued and appreciated by others. And that sort of confirmation can go a long way towards boosting your self-worth and self-esteem. Believe it. And embrace it. It is yours. 

Taurus

In some way Taurus is getting ready for some sort of radical new vision for the future. That could even be as simple as feeling freed up in order to live your own best life. You’ve probably been already feeling this to some degree as the planets Jupiter and Uranus are coming closer and closer to one another in your sign. Together they are encouraging you to broaden your horizons, and expand your idea of who you are, and what you are capable of doing, beyond your previous expectations of yourself. Beyond what you previously thought you were capable of. This is not about fulfilling an unrealistic fantasy, or becoming someone other than who you actually are. This is about fulfilling your own potential, and finally being freed up to be a truer, happier, and more expressive version of yourself. It’s kind of like suddenly realizing that you don’t have to ask permission to simply be you, or to rely on others to show up, when all you have to do is show up for yourself. And although many of the causes have been coming together for some time, a transit from Mars is motivating us all to take some sort of action, or just take advantage of this time of opportunity to follow through with any dreams that had been lying dormant in the background of your life. It is time. 

Gemini

The inferior conjunction of Mercury is the beginning of a new Mercury cycle, which commences in the middle of its retrograde phase. And as the Sun moves from Monday’s total eclipse, it carries the light of that eclipse to Mercury, kind of like a relay race, in which Mercury then carries the baton back to the eclipse point, and the centaur Chiron. And like an echo, what we experience is an inner awareness of what Chiron has been trying to tell us all along. Which includes the idea that our words and what we say, matters. One of the messages of Chiron is about the ways that you may have been compromising your own dreams and aspirations, simply because you’ve been afraid of rocking the boat. The upcoming Jupiter/Uranus conjunction is trying to illuminate, and make you aware of all sorts of secrets from behind the scenes. Things that had previously been hidden, are now being revealed. And what you learn, and the tools that are being given you, also have the added ability to open the door to your own spiritual awareness. Know that by making sense of the past, brings illumination and clarity. The sort of clarity that is needed in order to make a new beginning, in which you can finally make your dreams and aspirations a closer reality. 

Cancer

Whatever wounds were being revealed within the bounds of the Solar Eclipse last Monday, know that what is also being revealed are the remedies that will help to launch you onto your own healing journey, and perhaps even off on a whole new adventure altogether. And part of that journey just might include the sudden revelations being disclosed with the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction on April 20th. One of the remarkable things that can happen is a sort of reframing of your dreams and aspirations. Perhaps in some way the old dreams will no longer suffice. Or perhaps as a result of recent events, it becomes apparent that you are needing a bit of a redirect. An upgrade if you will. It’s kind of like reconfiguring your inner gps system so that it takes into consideration all of the new ways that your life has been, and continues to evolve. In some way, you are being asked to reach for the stars, sending your dreams out to greet them. Something is needing to change for the better in your life. And that means without the usual fears and reticence about rocking the boat, or being kicked out of the club, or not belonging. This is about you envisioning the life of your dreams, and then living it. 

Leo

The inferior conjunction of Mercury which occurred on Thursday, is an important time for us to check in with ourselves: What is my truth? Am I seeing things clearly? What is being revealed to me now that might change my whole perspective about things? And this is the big story over the next few weeks, which carries the potential for change. Even if it is merely a change in perspective. The planet Uranus has had many a Leo reassessing their lives, their future and their goals. Part of that is because we often outgrow the structures of our lives, leading to a feeling of dissatisfaction. This is because your outer world is needing to catch up with the person that you are becoming. And now that Jupiter, the planet of expansion, is currently conjunct Uranus, it can accelerate that process of change. Uranus wants us all to evolve in some way, and Jupiter wants you to grow. And when they are so prominently placed as they are for many a Leo, that potential for growth may even be beyond your previous expectations. Jupiter is lucky, and when you combine that luck with Uranus, it can bring sudden, and unexpected opportunities! Be prepared to see obstacles fall away and to have doors open that had previously been shut. A new horizon is opening up. 

Virgo

The inferior conjunction of Mercury which occurred on Thursday is the beginning of a whole new Mercury cycle which lasts approximately 116 days. And as Mercury is your ruling planet it will be bringing you along on the journey that began with the Solar Eclipse last Monday. As an extension to the Eclipse, Mercury aims to make you more aware of what you are needing in order to find greater wholeness and healing in your life. And although it may be complicated, it has less to do with others, or your external environment, than it does with what is going on within you. The Jupiter/Uranus conjunction can bring some sort of awareness or breakthrough. And sometimes all it takes is being willing to look at things from another perspective. Jupiter/Uranus are trying to broaden your perspective. Whether that be through a journey abroad, or within your own mind, in some way you are being asked to learn through exposure to new ideas, beliefs and viewpoints. Be willing to take a few leaps of faith in the process, and go with the flow. For there’s no telling where this can all bring you. 

Libra

What have you been hiding from yourself or others? The upcoming Jupiter/Uranus transit has been trying to pry open the door to your own inner dungeon. That’s the place were you have stashed and hidden all of your demons and shameful secrets. You may have thought them safely locked away from prying eyes. But Jupiter and Uranus hold the key to that dungeon, understanding that so long as you continue to try and control them, and keep them under wraps, they will continue to wreak havoc with your psyche. And now that the door is even slightly ajar, all that once seemed so scary and forbidden is coming out into the open. And surprisingly, as they emerge, they aren’t quite as scary or shameful as you thought they were. The demons are more like pussycats, and what used to seem so shameful borders on the whimsical and humorous. And even more surprisingly, what Jupiter and Uranus are capable of revealing, are not only that which you fear, but also something magical and creatively enticing. You are being dared to open yourself up to your own desire nature, as well as your own creative gifts that have been lying in wait, for just this sort of opportunity to finally be free. For by embracing every part of yourself, the good, the shameful and all the layers in between, you can achieve greater wholeness, healing and understanding. And this can be accomplished by simply having the courage to discover and further explore what lies within.

Scorpio

Change can be exciting, but it can also feel a little foreboding. Anticipating change can sometimes even fill us with trepidation as we veer between wanting to protect what we have vs. wanting to be free to explore new options. This will be something of a theme throughout the year, especially with Pluto now in Aquarius. But this coming week your ruling planet Mars is approaching its sextile to the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction. By doing so, Mars is encouraging you to take advantage of any opportunities that may be coming your way. This could involve changes or even veering off in a whole new direction. The Jupiter/Uranus conjunction is trying to open us all up to some sort of new vision or opportunity, even as we are nursing some trepidation. But thankfully so! For what the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction can do for us, is engender hope, and show us possibility where previously we only saw challenges. Jupiter/Uranus wants to get us out of our ruts and open up doors. And even if we continue to harbor a little trepidation, the end result could bring incredible growth, opportunity and unexpected breakthroughs! So strap on your parachute, we’re about to take off, and there’s no stopping the changes once they have begun. 

Sagittarius

With the upcoming Jupiter/Uranus conjunction there can be an incredible feeling of restlessness. It may even require you to have to make decisions on the fly. So if you are feeling a wee bit impatient, or are anticipating some sort of excitement ahead, strap on your seat belt, for things could be moving quite quickly. As a result you are going to have to trust your instincts to guide you through the bedlam. Stay at the center of the storm. But also know that even if it feels like you are taking risks, or base jumping off a cliff, the end result could bring a great deal of growth and unexpected breakthroughs. Your ruling planet Jupiter has been aiming to improve certain areas of your life that have to do with your health and daily routines. But combined with surprising (and revelatory) Uranus, there could be a few shifts here that could bring a whole new outlook. Note that even small changes in your diet, routines, or daily activities can bring remarkable changes to your life and general well-being when Jupiter meets Uranus. They can help increase your productivity, and make your daily life that much more enjoyable, benefitting you for years to come. 

Capricorn

In some way Capricorn is being inspired to fully immerse themselves in some sort of new and creative venture. With both Jupiter and Uranus joining forces in your solar or natal 5th House, usually conservative Capricorn is being asked to release their inhibitions and show the world what you are most proud of about yourself and/or your loved ones. This can take you for a deep dive into the world of personal self-expression; to take on some sort of competition or challenge (and win it!); or venture off into a whole new area that allows you to more fully express yourself. As a result, do expect your social calendar to light up as you are being dared to take center stage. And for those of you who have children, work with children or are otherwise involved with them, be prepared to bask in the glory of their (and your own) accomplishments. Perhaps even make a first, or try something new and exciting. Be proud! This is when you are being asked to step into the limelight. Therefore bask in your own glory, and bask in the glory of your loved ones and all that you hold dear. Some wonderful new vision for the future is lighting up your heart, and you won’t want to miss this for the world. 

Aquarius

From the difficult and seemingly impossible, you are being shown a way to open up your prospects in ways that you might not have previously even thought possible. And it may not necessarily be in the way that you expect it to either. Jupiter is investing your ruling planet Uranus with all sorts of abundance. But the very nature of Uranus is unpredictable, so although the benevolence of Jupiter almost always has our best interests at heart, the breakthroughs that these two can bring are almost limitless. Both these planets are in service to having us grow and evolve in some way, so know that even what might appear to be a difficult change, could ultimately be some sort of release that allows you to be freed up in some way in the end. Generally speaking, unpredictability aside, Jupiter working with Uranus can add a new dimension to your personal life that you may have given up on. It can bring the sudden opportunity to change your residence, improve relationships within the family, or make you aware of something that you had not previously known, but could change your whole point of view and bring you new solutions to old lingering problems. 

Pisces

Sometimes in order to make a new beginning the best possible way, we are required to tie up some loose ends. Not unusual to see some endings when Mars meets Saturn in Pisces as it did last week. But even as this marks the end of an era, there are already some seeds germinating in fertile ground. And you just may get a preview of what those new beginnings might look like in the foreseeable future. This might require you to look at a situation from a whole new perspective or in a different way from what you are accustomed to. Whenever we are willing to change things up or look at things differently it inspires us to also see solutions where previously we only saw problems and obstacles. The combination of your ruling planet Jupiter with Uranus can bring something of a eureka moment, that could either free you up for better things, or improve your life in ways that you might not have even imagined. It also can inspire us to go off road, and perhaps in an entirely new direction. Hence the inspiration to make a new beginning. With Uranus tied up with Jupiter, you are being asked to think in terms of possibility and not be resistant to the changes that are well nigh due. A new era is dawning, and this conjunction is shining a light on the proceedings.
