Garlic: The Kitchen Witches Best Friend
One of the most versatile tools of any magical person is garlic. Often called the “wonder drug” by herbalists, it serves a variety of medicinal as well as magical functions.

Deities: Hecate, the Morrigan, Kali, Sekhmet, and Calliech;

Garlic is as universal in magical applications as it appears to be in medicinal uses.
Use garlic to ward off negativity and dispel nightmares; for protection in a moving vehicle or on a boat; to guard against evil, gossip, thieves, and jealousy; to put in a bridal bouquet for good luck; to sprinkle on the doorstep to keep unsavory individuals away; to wear around the neck to dispel disease; to rub into pots and pans to remove negative vibrations; and to hang over windows to absorb negativity.
It can be placed in spell bottles to defeat enemies, and empowered during the dark Moon to shield and protect abused wives and children.
