It has been a while but two years of graduate school has now ended. What an incredible journey.

My drive to pursue Neuroscience was fueled by my realization of what lies ahead and where we are going as a species, but more significantly it was a compelling sense that it was something I must do. The following was a response to a question I posed to AI regarding this being the age of the brain.

“Yes, many would agree that we are living in the "age of the brain," a period where advancements in neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and artificial intelligence are revolutionizing our understanding of human potential and behavior. With brain-computer interfaces, neuroplasticity studies, and breakthroughs in mental health treatments, the brain has become a central focus of scientific exploration, technological innovation, and even societal development. This era emphasizes not only how we comprehend the brain’s functions but also how we harness that knowledge to improve learning, productivity, well-being, and even human-machine collaboration.”

We are witnessing the expanding future as the brain is the model for AI, DNA Computing (requires a computational network similar to the human brain) to replicate efficiency, adaptability, and the ability to learn. This includes Brain Computer Interface (BCI’s) technology as seen with Elon Musk’s Neuralink implant. This will allow an individual’s brain to control machines and other interlinked devices.  There is always an upside and a downside to these enhancement features. According to the Neuralink website:

“Neuralink is currently seeking people with quadriplegia to participate in a groundbreaking investigational medical device clinical trial for our brain-computer interface.” 

You are alive in human form at a very significant period in planetary history. Set fear aside and become more familiar with yourself, your mind, your body and the most profound level at which you exist. Otherwise life will be filled with fear and a sense of vulnerability in a rapidly advancing system. Many upcoming technological interventions may boggle the mind however this technological expansion is inevitable. Focus less on demise and instead apply focus to self-activation. What is the mind capable of? What will you allow yourself to be capable of? Overriding genetically stored stories of destruction and limitations on the planet is one option or one may convert those earth histories of war and generational vulnerability of being oppressor or oppressed. These bodies are quite durable particularly when managed by the proper mindset.

There is much talk of smart cities which in time will exist in various capacities as a result of trial and error and continuous research. Someday it will be possible for BCI between infrastructures around cities and towns with such features as the detection of mental and emotional conditions in an environment and the ability to measure conditions that may cause extreme stress or over stimulation; these are all possibilities in the making. Observation of brain wave activity in these smart environments and smart cities may take time but they exist in the field of possibilities and will be managed by various institutions, both public and private. But until such time understanding the communication between your brain, your mind and your body is a priority. The desire for personal growth and spiritual grown is contingent on how we access ourselves. Pulling back external focus and literally redirecting that energy for internal use is to unlock this bio technology.

On the flip side we have technologies that support the release of outdated generational genetic baggage; genetic data that has been foundational to the course or path taken in our lives (such as Zyto Evox voicemapping). Our actions, choices and self-perceptions are built on such information. They become triggers and challenges as we progress in human years/ cycles. Sickness, ageing, deterioration, mental decline are set in motion as every organ and cell responds to one’s biological foundation of outdated information about ourselves, the planet and cosmic insight.  Increased cognition is essential to the sort of expansion we seek and are capable of. Evolution has repeatedly shown that growing the human race to become more than mere recipients and users of exploding technology is essential to humans superseding our instinctually reactive survival responses but instead new discoveries and the advancement of technology is tantamount to enhancing areas of the brain involved in neurogenesis which promotes new neuron growth in the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex. Currently humans are affected by the decline of neurogenesis during the process of ageing. Neuroplasticity (the pliable nature of the brain) allows us to utilize the brain’s ability to rewire and optimize itself through training, experience, or interventions. The prefrontal Cortex of the brain is responsible for decision-making, planning, attention, and self-control. The use of these qualities over time is evidence of growth over the period of human evolution yet still untapped. The skill and power of meditation as a tool for unlocking untapped doorways is key for the serious traveler so are other tools used to enhance cognition which also includes brain optimization technologies like neurofeedback as well.  Optimizing, retraining and building new pathways are keys that support access to greater levels of self.   

Although science has not proposed much about similarities and connectivity between the brain and the stuff of the cosmos (both the substance and the mechanics of it) we know that at the fundamental level is the atomic level and all that lies beyond. What we also know is that neurons which form the basic building blocks of the brain are made of atoms and the atomic level is foundational to all matter. Consciousness or awareness arises through the consistent emergence of neurons as a result of the activity occurring at subatomic levels.  The universe is said to produce gravity and dark energy and other phenomena as a result of its interactions at the atomic level. So my point is that to realize the impact of the malfunction that often occur in the human brain (blamed on ageing but it goes beyond that as to why the decay in the first place) particularly with reduced neuron growth in the hippocampus has grave implications in opening the door to our natural superhuman potentialities and this I hope to share greater insight and tools of action. We must become more than we have been, others have done it and we now (we have always had the opportunity) have the opportunity to step into the “light” of the science.

Technology advances so that we may be forced to advance beyond our own creations and not the other way around. However as time launces forward, along the way generations change as evolution occur in stages ushering in new humans, some you will never know in 50, 100 years and so on. But they will be the result of this moment in time and what we choose individually is what you will pass on in the time capsules of your genes.  Even in the time capsule of the thoughts you leave behind when you embodied the flesh. Let’s be more because that is the journey, it is the traveler’s adventure!
