Sacred Geometry and Quartz

quartz_platonic_solidsThe 5 Platonic solids (Tetrahedron, Hexahedron, Octahedron, Dodecahedron and Icosahedron) are ideal, primal models of crystal patterns that occur throughout the world of minerals in countless variations. There are only five regular polyhedra, that is, the only five solids made from the same equilateral equiangular polygons.

To the Greeks, these solids symbolized fire, earth, air, spirit (or ether) and water respectively. The cube and octahedron are duals, meaning that one can be created by connecting the midpoints of the faces of the other. The Icosahedron and dodecahedron are also duals of each other, and three mutually perpendicular, mutually bisecting golden rectangles can be drawn connecting their vertices and midpoints, respectively. The tetrahedron is a dual to itself.

Sacred Geometry is found in nature, in art, and in ancient civilizations. It can be seen in crop circles, classic art, prayer wheels, mandalas, and DNA. It is found in the grand design of the cosmos (as evidenced by the relationships between the planets in our own solar system) and is thought by many to be the language of the Creator. Some scientists theorize that Sacred Geometry is proof of a holographic universe. Connecting with Sacred Geometry is said to wake up the sleeping memory of our true, infinite selves.

Many people believe that enlightenment can be achieved through the study of Sacred Geometry. Looking at any of the endless examples of Sacred Geometry in existence can resonate with one's deeper self, bringing about new patterns of thought and a deep knowing of the perfection and cohesion of the Universe. By meditating with any or all of the Platonic Solids, one can form a deep connection with the nature of our universe, and easily find ways to incorporate this new knowledge into daily life.

Extremely popular metaphysically, Clear Quartz is known as the "Master Healer", with its very high vibration, and is the most versatile healing stone among all crystals. When the quartz is cut and faceted as one of the platonic solids it creates the required frequencies and harmonics required for healing and well being. Quartz is said to be the most powerful healing stone of the mineral kingdom, able to work on any condition. Clear Quartz is known as the "Stone of Power" and amplifies any energy or intention. Clear Quartz is said to protect against negativity, attune to your higher self, and relieve pain. This extra, high quality Clear Quartz, amplifies the Sacred Geometry energies within these Icosahedrons, making them ideal for all kinds of spiritual work. The Sacred Geometry of the platonic solid when combined with the Sacred Geometry inherent in the Quartz crystalline formation creates quite a powerful metaphysical piece!
