2023 Gemini Full Moon

When the Sun entered Sagittarius on Nov 22 He invited us to go on a vision quest. What inspires you? What are you seeking that is meaningful and enhances your life? The astrological Earth entered Gemini asking us to heal duality within our selves and create a new story. Mars the planet of motivation entered Sagittarius on Nov 24 giving us the energy to take action and manifest our vision. This quest was activated when Mercury first entered Sagittarius on Nov 10. The planet of our thoughts and perceptions has been asking us to view whatever is occurring from our higher consciousness and spiritual perspective.

With each energy shift Saturn at 00 degrees Pisces was activated by a Square (motivation for change and finding new ways of doing things). Saturn in Pisces offers us the opportunity to strengthen our spiritual foundation and embrace the Oneness. To do that we need to break free from the illusion of separateness and create unity. That will be the theme for this Gemini Full Moon and the Sun’s journey through Sagittarius.

This Full Moon is at 04 degrees Gemini 51 minutes travelling with Earth at the same degrees. They activate The Tarot Constellation of The Lovers, relationship and choice. The choice to separate in fear or unite in love. The Moon is “out of bounds” and guided by Mercury at 24 degrees Sagittarius 40 also “out of bounds”. They are asking us to “think outside the box” and be guided by our Soul’s Wisdom. Venus at 21 degrees Libra 22 is the Soul Centered ruler of the Moon and Earth. She is asking us to focus on peace and harmony. Venus is travelling with the South Node at 24 degrees Libra 21 asking us to release conflict from the past through healing love. They are sextile Mercury (opportunity to create our new vision). Venus is inconjunct Uranus Rx at 20 degrees Taurus 30 supporting us to breakthrough to what is of true value. Uranus is the Soul Centered ruler of Libra.  

The Sun is at 04 degrees 51 Sagittarius (spiritual vision) travelling with Ceres at 00 degrees Sagittarius 55 (spiritual nurturing) and Mars at 02 Sagittarius 06 (spiritual action). Mercury is at 24 degrees Sagittarius 40 and as we mentioned asking us to be spiritually conscious. They are activating The Tarot Constellation of The Hierophant, learning from past experiences and becoming the Wise Teacher. We all have wisdom to share. The planetary guide for all this Sagittarius energy is Jupiter Rx at 07 degrees Taurus 28 (expansion and growth of what is of true value and importance). Taurus is also found on Tarot Constellation of The Hierophant. “change your thoughts and change your life.”

As I often say the Universe likes to challenge us to see if we are “awake.”  The Full Moon creates a T Square with Saturn at 00 degrees Pisces 58. Saturn is the lord of obstacles. A T Square can make us feel backed into a corner with no way out. Pisces can feel lost and alone. But there is a way out of limitation and restriction. Black Moon Lilith is at 06 degrees Virgo 07 creating a Mutable Cross. Virgo is healing into wholeness and Lilith is reconnecting to our Sacred Powerful Self. Remembering who we really are is the gift.

Our Animal Totem guide for the Moon and Earth in Gemini is Deer, sensitivity, compassion, and unconditional love. Deer also calls us to new adventures. The guides for the Sun and the other planets in Sagittarius are Elk, strength, stamina, and support of community, and Owl, the wisdom  to discern the truth. For Pisces we are guided by Cougar, spiritual power, and Wolf, who walks with us through change. For Virgo, Brown Bear is guiding us. Introspection, healing, and The Healer. They are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere but wherever we live when called they will come to support us on our journey.

The Clan Mother who guides Gemini is Storyteller. She teaches us to speak the truth from our experience without judging others or being self-righteous. She teaches us to see the lighter side of life. She also guides us as we create our new story. For Sagittarius we are guided by Clan Mother Gives Praise. She teaches us the art of giving and receiving and to be thankful for the abundance in our lives. She teaches us gratitude.
