As a seeker of the enlightenment that comes with inner peace, I tend to avoid all stories of battles - political battles, war propaganda, and even sports news.

However, with today's increasingly loud war drums as well as countries becoming divided almost to the point of civil war, it seems to be a fruitful time to exercise more of the power that God gave to us lightworkers.

You see, we have an unfair advantage. It reminds me of the words of the transcendentalist Ralph Waldo Emerson, "The dice of God are always loaded." That means that good will always win out in the end, as long as good people provide the necessary ingredient of action.

It works like this. One person can descend into strife-filled consciousness and darken the world by, say, one unit of energy. Each lightworker can do the exact opposite to heal and uplift the world, but their higher frequency of consciousness creates much more energy than the person who chose a low frequency of consciousness.

Researcher David Hawkins (1913-2002) is to be thanked for discovering how this works. He spent years investigating the effects of the whole frequency range of human consciousness and came up with an amazing discovery. The power of your mind to affect the world doesn't just increase bit by bit as your frequency rises. It increases exponentially!

As a spiritually-aware person, the influence of your consciousness is equivalent to hundreds of thousands of statistically-average people! His actual figure was, that a person's consciousness at the entry level to spiritual awareness counter-balances and lifts up the effect of the thoughts of 800,000 people of average consciousness around the world.

Now, imagine what happens when you go beyond the entry level, seek the inspiration to really raise your consciousness and bring peace to the world. Before you know it, you're helping to uplift tens of millions of people and making the world a distinctly better place than it would have been without the benefit of your work and your presence.

Any spiritual thought and action raises the world but, for world peace, you can do no better than a technique designed by a master of Karma Yoga for this exact purpose.
