There are so many reasons that I want to leave this Planet and head back home to Spirit.

This physical body, for one, with its disappointing imbalances, aging, and limitations.  The sensitivities to environmental toxins and artificial smells and chemicals. The vast majority of unawakened humans, whom I am so disconnected from, and with I seem to have less and less in common. Feeling so little connection to my past. The daily challenge of having to keep up with human chores and obligations.

And in general just feeling that I no longer fit into this whole time and space reality, in its current consciousness.

And, in spite of all the reasons to leave, I find myself with one good reason to stay.  And, here so many would say, it’s to shine my light, to help others to awaken.  But it’s something else. It’s the sensuality of this time and space reality.

Deep within the vast universe, our tiny blue planet offers a unique gift to our soul….a sensual experience unlike any other. From the time we take on these physical bodies, to our last breath, we are here to experience what can’t be experienced in the other realms.

That first sip of hot, rich dark roast coffee in the morning, as I listen to some soft jazz. The fragrance of fresh morning air after a rain.  Taking my walk in nature in the evening and feeling the pulse of the earth herself, and the cacophony of insects and baby frogs.

The quiet majesty of new fallen snow.

I find myself dancing to music, and feeling the song’s mesmerizing and transformative frequencies. And now that my soul is merged more deeply with my human self, these experiences are magnified like never before. 

Now I understand why it has been so difficult to awaken and integrate my soul, and why I choose to stay despite that fact.
