Spirit Message - What Do You Want To Do With Your Life?
- Details
- Written by John Cali
In my younger years, the adults around me often asked what I wanted to do with my life. Sound familiar? Most of our readers probably had similar experiences.
Of course, the adults expected you to have your sights set on something that was going to bring you money, fame, and good fortune.
Mostly money. Money was typically the main focus. It didn’t matter if you actually enjoyed the work you were doing, as long as it created money. Our Western society is obsessed with material things, especially money.
Spirit
We agree—money has become an obsession with your modern Western society. A most unhealthy obsession, we would add.
Of course, as long as you are occupying these physical bodies in this physical world, you need money. Or some other form of exchange. That’s obvious.
But what we have observed, especially in your current 21st century, is money has become your god. You’ve allowed it obscure the true treasures of your life.
You all know someone who will sacrifice anything, and everything, for money.
The point we’re making here today is you have distorted the purpose of money and material possessions. God or Goddess never intended them to be your goal in life. They are only a means to survive (and even prosper) in the physical world.
Our point is simple—to live a healthy, balanced, and prosperous live, you will need to put money into its proper perspective.
It is only one means to help you navigate the world. It is not your true source of abundance.
Your true source is God or Goddess. There is no other source. Rely on that divine power to sustain and prosper you.
There is a song Johnny and Berna love—its title is “God will take care of you.”
If you know that with absolute certainty, you will always have all you need, including money.

In the early 1980s, John took a spiritual development course and was introduced to his first spirit guide, Lydia. After Lydia arrived, three other guides also came to him: Archangel Michael, Tamarra, and Chief Joseph. Today these are John’s four main guides. Besides his four main ones, John has various other guides. The entire group is really a multidimensional collective consciousness. John refers to the entire group simply as “Spirit.” Source
