Diversity Revisited
- Details
- Written by John Cali
A while ago, we published a post about diversity. With the state of our world today, it’s worth revisiting the subject.
We don’t have to look far to see how much controversy exists today because of diversity.
As Spirit said in that last post, “… the issue most of you face in this lifetime … is diversity, specifically, accepting diversity..”
We could all look back into our pasts and probably find countless times where we framed our challenges with an “us versus them” perspective. Usually, “them” were different from “us” in some way. Diversity rears its ugly head again!

There are many things I admire about Dutch culture. Among them is their acceptance and embrace of diversity.
I’ve always loved learning new languages. So now I’m learning Dutch. Berna Copray, a dear friend in The Netherlands, is helping me with this.
This short video is about diversity in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam. (Although Amsterdam is the capital, the Dutch government operates in The Hague.)
In the early 1980s, John took a spiritual development course and was introduced to his first spirit guide, Lydia. After Lydia arrived, three other guides also came to him: Archangel Michael, Tamarra, and Chief Joseph. Today these are John’s four main guides. Besides his four main ones, John has various other guides. The entire group is really a multidimensional collective consciousness. John refers to the entire group simply as “Spirit.” Source
