These are challenging changing times as is totally evident by a brief scan of the news and simply by noticing what the culture, society, and world are going through right now. The old order is crumbling and the new paradigm is still part of the unknown – the mystery of a future that unsettles even stout souls.

Right now, for good reason, the theme of the times is ‘release and reinvent’. Release old ways of thinking, resentment, anger, impatience and a host of beliefs, expectations, perceptions, behaviors and the like. Take this energy and invent a new world with it. The baggage we are holding has been accumulated during the long era during which young soul values have been dominant and have imprinted every woman, man, and child on the planet regardless of their soul age.

Each era comprising 6,625 years is characterized by one of the seven roles and the young soul era has been a warrior-informed time. This in no way means that all warriors are young souls. There are many older soul warriors now that no longer agree with these strategies. The mature soul era we are entering now will be informed by the scholar role. Because this will be a time of looking within, the scholar attribute of observation will be necessary. No longer will the value be to rush into action to solve every problem externally or where we out-picture them. We will all be more prone to observing, noticing, and assimilating. Buddhism speaks of this as mindfulness and yes, we will have the opportunity to be more mindful. Similarly, just because we are moving into an era of assimilation does not mean every scholar is a mature soul. Many are still very young.

This transition of soul ages from young to mature and from a warrior perspective to a scholar perspective can be difficult for us to negotiate and we may feel confused, anxious, and in doubt about our future. We still have much more to release in the coming weeks, months, and years. Much will transpire within the next fifty years but realistically the whole process will take much longer, perhaps more than two hundred years. We should not be discouraged by this because in historical terms this is a blink of an eye. Yes, you may say but I am not going to live that long. That is quite true. It would be fair to say that not one person alive today will be in the same body in two hundred years. If you believe this is your only lifetime, then you perhaps have something to feel discouraged about. However, if you understand that you enjoy many bodies over long historical periods this should be very encouraging. You will definitely be around to see how this all works out in the long term and be better equipped for it with every lifetime. To cope with these changes, you have to consider the big picture. If you cannot see the big picture for whatever reason, then you may needlessly suffer, but that too will be temporary.

The old patterns hold an enormous load of energy and as we release them this stored energy becomes available for the new. There are too many patterns to break to mention here but let us take just two very unfortunate patterns that have brought us to the present state of crisis. These are both patterns representing values that belong to the young soul era. Only younger souls could think these things up because they are by nature fixated in the child stage, somewhere around eight to eleven years old. These are the years when children have great fun flexing their muscles and discovering the limits of their new-found power, experimenting with manipulation, lying, and attempting to control their peers by besting them, even at times bullying them. This does not make children bad of course. We understand their immaturity and help guide them through it. It is a required course so to speak and they must do it to grow to adulthood successfully. This is also true of our species as a whole. Time to grow up.

The two patterns I am going to speak of here are both young warrior strategies to dominate and control. They can be summed up in two words: Monetizing and weaponizing. To a young soul warrior (and we are all conditioned by young warrior values) these notions seem to be brilliant strategies to be experimenting with in every area of life. Monetizing can lead to many advantages, domination, the ability to rise in status, accumulate great wealth, and manipulate the game of life to win all kinds of advantages over others. Simply put, monetizing is the activity of finding every possible way of charging money for every possible thing imaginable. Let us take for example potable water or even water used for other purposes like agriculture. Most indigenous peoples have always thought of clean water as being a gift from spirit available to every human being for their needs. From their perspective everyone should have access to it. Somewhere along the way someone had the creative idea that water could be owned privately and if so, it could be sold for a profit to others. If they could not pay, it would be withheld and sold to another. For the first time then people could die of thirst even though water was available in their area. What a bizarre idea. But today, this has become a way of life that few would question. Similarly, medicine, food, space, land, almost everything you can think of has had a price put on it to be sold to the highest bidder. First nations people were dumfounded at this idea when Europeans first landed on the shores of North and South America. They just did not get the concept and suffered grievously because of it.

A while back, I spoke to a world-renowned economist about this and he told me that Americans had emerged as the masters of this strategy and had tweaked this monetary system to squeeze out every ounce of advantage to achieve world domination by the few. To remain at the top of this game they had to attack any notions that this was not okay so they painted the word socialist with a very negative light and viciously attacked anyone that questioned the monetizing game. Anyone not agreeing was an enemy of capitalism, even though there are various types of capitalism and some that do not go to such extremes. I thought this was very interesting.

Let us look at the other pattern called weaponizing. With this strategy, absolutely anything can be turned into a weapon to attack one’s perceived foes. Ideas (cognitive hacking), fake news, disinformation and propaganda are all forms of weaponizing. Once again, this is the game of dominance: one over the other. It includes tremendous advantages because when you turn something into a weapon you are manipulating fear in the hearts of others. Essentially you are threatening others with something that formerly had no ability to strike terror in someone. This strategy has also been refined to absolutely absurd lengths as exemplified by weaponizing the color of people’s skin, weaponizing certain ideas that depict loyalty or insufficient loyalty, beliefs that depict membership or not, religious beliefs that are acceptable and ones that are not, and so on. You can weaponize ideas by requiring that everyone adhere to a set of beliefs or be drummed out or exiled. We won’t go into this any further here because I am sure you get the idea.

Monetizing and weaponizing are completely unsustainable in the long run as is readily apparent. These are ideas that absolutely have to go, but how? They are so ingrained in our modern way of life that almost everyone shrugs their shoulders and accepts these things as just the way it is. But go they will and sooner rather than later because these ideas do not fit where we are going as a planet. They divide people and create separation through fear, and this is no longer where we are headed. Been there, done that. These ways will wither on the vine because their day has come and gone and they are no longer receiving the juice they need to prevail. So fortunately, you do not have to take it upon yourself to attack and eradicate these strategies because they will eradicate themselves. The mystery that is the future will see to that. What you can do is not cling to these patterns, not demand that they help you win the local game of status and power. On the contrary, our task is to release them in our minds, to not feed them or give them any energy by being upset or angry or even resentful. The best strategy is to starve the patterns by refusing to feel fearful, separate, divided and so on. The process of release is not done through analysis or thinking our way through. Rather it is done through clear intent and simply knowing what is right and acting from that place. This actually does not require much effort and certainly not a struggle.

Now, we are talking about reinventing ourselves and our world. Reinventing is a choice to not place anyone or anything outside of Spirit. This may come down to some very simple activities such as giving someone a drink who is thirsty and cannot afford clean water in violation of the status quo. As clean water becomes more and more scarce on this planet we will be offered many opportunities to do such things either alone or in groups or in masses. I am of course only using water here as a metaphor for many things we may need to do for our neighbors.

What people do not understand for the most part is that these things such as monetizing and weaponizing have come about because somewhere along the line we each agreed to let this happen. This does not mean that we liked it or even went along with it. It simply means we let it happen as an experiment on the planet, an experiment that just did not work out because it goes against the laws of nature. Now it is time to un-agree or disagree. This has to happen person by person simply at the level of a single moment of complete insight and understanding. The good news is that with each person who reaches the simple conclusion that this is not the way, hundreds, if not thousands of others are impacted by this powerful internal realization. Yes, realization is extraordinarily powerful and travels silently and at the speed of light from one person to another. It is simple and amazingly effective. The only challenge is that you cannot see this activity with your eyes or hear it with your ears as it’s happening. This is where you need another simple thing and that is faith that it is working. What that looks like is that you are just sitting there and you say to yourself, “This pattern is no longer working. I do not accept it and I don’t give a shit if anybody agrees with me. From now on these patterns do not exist in my universe.” That’s it. Done. Of course, there is something called follow up. Your behavior has to be consistent with your realization. This will happen slowly, maybe even imperceptibly, but it will move mountains in the long run. What millions of people will be discovering in the near future is that telepathy is real and when telepathy is linked to the truth it becomes like wildfire. Nothing can contain it. Those who want to dominate, manipulate, and control beware. The world is about to change dramatically away from these strategies.
