awaken This is not your ordinary lifetime, as you have already figured out! One thing that’s different is the active expression of your DNA-level encodement for awakening into your full potential. It’s in the ON position this life, catalyzing remembrances of what you were born to be and do, and stirring within you an incessant and persistent desire to move to the next phase of your spiritual unfolding.

This energetic encodement is a bit like an alarm clock within you that was programmed to go off at key moments of this lifetime – awakening you to your soul’s purpose and helping you to remember your role as a divine changemaker.

Key Moments

If you think back upon your life, there indeed have been key moments when you did a radical U-turn or something totally out of character. Not really understanding in that moment why, you just knew deep within you that something major in your life had to shift and it needed to happen very soon. That “very soon” factor is the urgency you feel in such moments.

Most likely, you have felt this urgency a lot during recent times. The feeling may have you looking at key relationships, what you do for a living, how you spend your time, and much more. You may wonder if you are doing all you can to express gifts that are uniquely yours, things that no one can contribute to the world like you can.

Loop of Questioning

Sometimes this wondering can trigger a loop of constant questioning about whether you are on track or if you are missing something important. If you find yourself doing this, take a step back. Inquire within to know what part of you is doing the repetitive questioning: (1) Is it your ego, never satisfied with your progress and always wanting something more? (2) Is it your inner child, feeling neglected in some way? (3) Is it spirit’s way of getting your attention about something you are overlooking, stirring a deeper inquiry to get your focus off the mundane and directed towards your larger purpose?

Trust that you can learn a lot with mindfulness, paying close attention to the questions you are asking. Repetitive questions can be like a nudge that gets you to think about something. Example: the nudge you feel when you question whether what you do for a living, or how you express your gifts, is in full alignment with your soul’s purpose. Don’t fight it or worry you won’t get there. Listen, though, and take heart-centered actions on your inner wisdom. It is a process and you have lots of help!

The Cosmic Context

You are human, but you are also a vast and eternal multidimensional being. In this larger cosmic context, you have honed numerous useful abilities and positive qualities throughout a series of lifetimes. These beneficial energies are within you today, carried within your DNA. You do not lose them, even if some of them are not active all lifetimes.

Your soul’s purpose for this life has roots in your past, your previous incarnations setting the stage for how you could contribute your distinctive talents during these unique times. Even the people you met before, and perhaps know now, are included in the mix.

People who come into your life over time – including the boss you disliked and the partner who caused you pain – are often just the catalysts you need to express your soul’s purpose more fully in the world. These people often have been with you in past lives, too!

Connect the Dots

Invite your inner wisdom to reveal to you through dreams, meditations, and life events how to connect the dots between your past, your present, and your future. In eternal time, these timelines are one, contained in the whole. Looked at separately with a higher wisdom and foresight, they carry essential keys to self-understanding and enlightenment.
