A Process Of Letting Go
Hello friends,
Today I'd like to discuss this week's Full Moon energies and some ways you can strategically respond to volatile emotions likely to arise. Continue reading for background on this Saturday's Full Moon energy and why becoming aware of this can help you navigate your life.
Working With Full Moon Energies
Full Moon energies tend to amplify emotions and illuminate issues - bringing things to light. Dream work can be very powerful when you prepare for sleep with intention to better understand yourself and relationships.
Given our Virgo Full Moon don't be surprised if issues arise connected to the details of a relationship dynamic. Keep in mind that the relationship dynamic arising could be you with another person, or you needing to look within at how you engage with the world.
Sensitives like us tend to feel Full Moon energy more tangibly. I suggest welcoming this as a beneficial gift from the Universe. Rather than get overwhelmed by feelings - perhaps wanting to 'check out' - I suggest staying in your power and being with the feelings.
When life gets confusing or simply overwhelming, we sometimes sit in a swirl of unknown energies and want to check out. Ever feel that way? I have!
To be sure, we live in crazy unprecedented times. Much of what's happening in our outside world is beyond our control. On some days, even the simple remedies we've learned to create inner peace can feel inadequate to address how we feel. Sound familiar?
Letting Go Process
When we feel overloaded like this, an optimal fix is to let go. This means purposefully acknowledging how we feel, then letting go of both the feelings and the mind chatter that tells us there's something wrong.
Our ego is tricky after all. As soon as we label anything as wrong, our self-talk can take us down a dark and unproductive road. When our consciousness is in that lower vibrational state, we lose our ability to make the best decisions. We see things from the ego's lens of fear.
In summary, when you become aware that you're having a difficult day, stop what you're doing or thinking. Then purposefully step away from things long enough to reclaim a sense of stability.
