Hello friends,

Today I'd like to share some insights and simple tools for making peace with family. I'm referring to both birth family and our collective human family. This is essential for all of us as we prepare to end 2023 and get resourced for the volatile energies of change to unfold in 2024.

Background

We have been conditioned to define ourselves in terms of our birth family. This includes our ethnicity, culture, belief systems, and perceptions about who we are and who we could become. This linear conditioning has kept us feeling small and in a box. It also causes us to fear and judge others who are different from us.

Within our personal family structure, another level of linear conditioning took place. Examples: (1) A child may have been gifted with psychic abilities, but other family members misunderstood the gifts and fearfully judged. (2) Another child may have appeared to be a slow learner, when in fact that child was extremely smart and learned in a different way than other children. (3) A young boy with artistic abilities wasn't validated by parents who valued competitive sports and academic achievement.

Connecting The Dots

Considering the linear conditioning we Divine Changemakers have had, it is any wonder that we judge ourselves and don't know who we really are?!

In the larger context, imagine 7 billion humans with similar conditioning to ours: (1) They don't know who they really are. (2) They were conditioned to fear and judge others. (3) They don't realize that they are divine beings with infinite power to create! (4) They were conditioned to give their power away. (5) They have learned that they are separate - rather than a part of the whole of humanity.

Making Peace With Family

Making peace with our human family is essential to go forward and create a world based on love. The way to do this starts with us as individuals. After all, our sense of self and our ability to love ourselves is the foundational piece. The times that we live in require that we redefine who we are on a soul/cosmic level - beyond the body, beyond identities, beyond what we have learned or been told. This is HUGE!

1. In advance of this life, we and billions of others purposefully chose to be here together when humanity was in its darkest moments. As I describe in my book Earth's Pivotal Years: "You came not for one date in time but to have a front-row seat as the Earth ascends into a higher consciousness."
2. Many things are not as they appear. Some situations and individuals may simply be catalysts for our awakening, remembering who we are, and taking back our power as sovereign beings.
3. You don't need to like someone or someone's views to love them. Love does not judge.
4. When the fire of change gets hotter - as it certainly will - you can discover how to create joy and celebratory vibes in your energy field.
5. Divine Changemakers living now tend to be sensitives, feeling life more deeply and intuiting things others may miss. This is a strength to be cherished and valued.
