Card #59 | Sirius (Present, 2nd Era) | Unfinished Business

We have spoken often about the period of time 13,000 years ago when humanity fell asleep and moved through an evolutionary winter. That was one of the most significant periods of human history. Now, you are entering an even more significant period – that of the movement into an evolutionary spring and summer cycle, or the beginnings of your awakening as a species. This time of awakening connects deeply to the time you fell asleep. If you think of the idea of unsprouted seeds from ancient times being frozen and then beginning to thaw, it is a wonderful metaphor to describe what is happening now.

This means that the seeds that never sprouted 13,000 years ago are now being reactivated and given another chance to mature to the blossoming stage. While this sounds like a wonderful and exciting experience (which it is), it is important to understand that as with most experiences on Earth, there is a shadow side, too.

The theme of the card, “Unfinished Business,” does not necessarily refer to what you did not DO so long ago. It has more to do with what was not HEALED so long ago. The only thing that really matters in your journey through physicality is how you grow, heal from your wounds, and allow love back into your beingness. Accomplishments do not matter. We say this to avoid any misunderstandings about what we are communicating. We are not saying that you now must do what you did not do 13,000 years ago. We are saying that you are being asked to finally heal what was left unhealed from so long ago.

Many of you have this feeling that there is something you need to do, but you don’t know what it is. This may leave you searching to find a path that feels elusive. This feeling you have is real, but how the mind translates it may be distorted. This inner pressure you may feel is coming from an inner knowing that it is time to handle the “unfinished business.” This can be interpreted by the ego in an integrated way, or a shadow way. A person on the path of integration (as most of you reading this are), will be compelled to pursue ways to heal what is left unhealed within you. For those who are not on a direct path of integration, the pressure to deal with “unfinished business” may take the shadow form. The shadow form of this internal pressure might feel like a need to get revenge, to right a perceived wrong, or to validate the ego’s desires even if it causes suffering to others.

Therefore, this internal pressure to heal unfinished business is being expressed in your world in both light and dark ways. On the light (or integration) side, it may feel like increased sensitivity (because you must feel to heal), a need to be alone, a need to take a willing journey into your own shadow for healing purposes, and any other experience that facilitates the integration within you. It can cause immense confusion and feelings of despair about the state of the world or your own life. If this is what you are feeling, keep on with your journey. Your singular journey of integration and healing, combined with the millions of others on the same path, carries immense energetic power and naturally helps to shift the zeitgeist.

For those who are taking the dark road in response to the inner pressure to take care of unfinished business, they may be consumed with wanting revenge, breaking down structures and rebuilding in a way that makes the ego feel safe (but is more deluded). They may be lashing out at innocent people who can’t or won’t defend themselves. They may be trying to control the narrative in order to weave a story that funnels power or allegiance to them. There is a myriad of ways that this dark road can manifest itself. This road creates a tsunami of resistance to integration, kindness, compassion, and love. It requires focus and an open heart to not be swept away in what seems like the predominant energy of reality. This is part of your spiritual training – a master level course!

Your ancestors, the Sirians, experienced a very similar challenge to their planetary awakening. Their society became so deeply split before they awakened. They navigated this road by staying committed to their integration and awakening. They made conscious choices to go deeper into love in an environment that was mired in fear, hate and control. It is simple energy dynamics. The natural state is integration. Resistance can only be held for so long until the resistance collapses into itself and creates transformation and integration. That energetic process is on the horizon. Until that time, keep caring for yourself and others with love, compassion and kindness. Then, the natural energy of integration will work its magic!
