If not, you've got good timing.

The start of any new year is usually buzzing with eagerness and enthusiasm to begin the journey toward bettering yourself, but you might want to take a step back and reflect before setting your intentions.

We are in both Mercury retrograde AND Mars retrograde right now. Now isn't the time to jump head-first into something new; instead, take this time to reflect and see if what you think you want actually agrees with your soul.

Mercury is the planet of communication, and Mars is our motivator - they're both in their 'rewind' phases during this time, so you're meant to turn inward.

Our inner guidance knows best and might have bigger plans for us when these planets circle back around. So, what you "think" you want now may not be what's best for you in the long run.

Allow your soul to guide your intentions.

You may intuitively know that you're being guided toward a higher purpose. Your heart and Higher Self are guiding you in every moment.

Your soul's journey isn't linear.

You may want to call in your helping spirits and Higher Self to guide you on your path.

Tune into your heart.

Ask yourself WHY you want to achieve certain goals, then imagine what it would FEEL like to experience them.

Your intentions are much more potent when you RECEIVE inspiration rather than writing something from your cognitive mind.
