Mercury and Venus in Sagittarius opposed Mars in Gemini!.

As most of you have read, Mercury and Venus recently entered Sagittarius and now race toward their oppositions with Mars retrograde in Gemini on November 29/30 and December 1. Besides a tremendous amount of agitation in the air, what else does this mean?

Any opposition creates awareness through understanding two sides of the same polarity, in this case Sagittarius to Gemini. So any line of tension runs through these two signs. The Mercury opposition is exact on the 29th at 20 Sag/Gemini, and the Venus opposition is exact on the 30th at 19 Sag/Gemini. If you have a planet anywhere between 17-22 Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces expect some disruptions which require precise, careful, and correct actions!

The opposition is made favorable by the Sag planets making a sextile to Saturn, which is being trined by Mars. This generates a very favorable void between 18-22 Leo and helps to stabilize our understanding of any planets we have in those degrees of Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. This building energy of Sag, Aquarius, and Gemini can be released through the T-square created by the opposition with Mercury, Venus, and Mars square Neptune, showing the need to focus on the order and details of what we’re doing.

Mercury opposed Mars reminds us to find a “good enough” motive for what we’re doing, and a profitable direction for our efforts. Avoid playing to the restless or scattered mind, or spacing out when focused action is required. If you find you’re going in the wrong direction, then go a different way at the right time, which won’t be for a little while. This opposition favors realistic analyses of situations and the ability to act in ways which fulfill the potential.

Venus opposed Mars tests our ability to coordinate our affairs without getting distracted by-passing diversions. Make sure you’re using the right means to achieve your ends, and be alert to situations where you have to neglect one cherished thing to work on something else. Fit things into a long range perspective, and see how to juggle things so you can keep several things going at the same time and not get distracted.

In any case, go slow, and be a little more cautious in saying things, or pushing things, or jumping into something, or overreacting to something. This is great for strengthening our hearts and showing we can be creative, loving, or playful in enlightened form of service to self, to others, and/or to the world.
