Aries

(12th House) The New Moon is a time of new beginnings. And for Aries the New Moon in Pisces can be a bit contradictory in that regard. All the more so with Saturn standing in the wings, about to enter Pisces on March 7th. For Aries, the New Moon in Pisces can be a time to wrap things up from an old order that no longer suffices. It’s time to move on, and let go of a past that we have since outgrown. Saturn will help to facilitate that process. It’s like pulling up weeds and the old growth of yesteryear so that new seeds can now take root. That can be literal, as in combing through the house, emptying the closets, cleaning out the basement, and donating old belongings. But it can also be an internal process: clearing out the space junk in our minds so that we can make clearer connections with ourselves. In the mean time, enjoy the spark of joy that Venus can bring now that it is entering your sign. Indulge yourself, your whims, your fancies. It’s a friendly reminder each year of what and who you love, and why they are so important to you. Then get back to clearing out those spaces. A good intention with the New Moon in Pisces on Monday (or Sunday) might be to symbolically find ways to release the past in order to walk more freely into the future. 

Taurus

(11th House) Now that Venus is entering Aries this week, there is a reminder here that certain rewards are in the doing, and the actions taken, not in the expectations of receiving something in return. There is no beating about the bush when Venus is in Aries, we merely do things for others, or out of the kindness of our heart, because it is the right thing to do. And that there are some things that are worth making sacrifices for. How appropriate that Venus enters Aries the same day as the New Moon in compassionate and altruistic Pisces on Monday? Each year at the New Moon in Pisces you are afforded an opportunity to revamp and realign yourself with your dreams and aspirations for the future.But with Saturn pulling up the rear over here, and about to enter Pisces in March, you might be thinking more practically. Such as, “How can I make my dreams, hopes and wishes more attainable?” What needs to be let go in order to make your current dreams a closer reality? Or perhaps: In what ways do you need to step out of your own way, in order to allow those hopes and wishes to be fulfilled? Gemini

(10th House) It looks like a busy week for Gemini! There may be a few twists and turns, maybe a change of plans, but for the most part happy meetings, inspiring ideas, catching up on old news, and maybe even a few excuses for festive repartee. Betwixt all that activity is the New Moon in Pisces on Monday at the very top of your Solar or Natal chart. This is the time of year in which Gemini is thinking about their status and reputation, and this year it can be about evaluating all that you have (or have not) achieved thus far. Are you happy with where you are? And if so, what more can you do to further solidify your position. And if you are not happy, what might you be willing or able to change in order to bring your current situation closer to the original intention? And if you are committed to this path, but unable to make changes, what can you change in your other circumstances or perspective that will allow you to be able to accept your current circumstances for what they currently are? The New Moon in Pisces is about dreaming your dream, not necessarily giving up on it if it’s not perfect, but to continue to look for ways to make it a closer and more realistically achievable probability.

Cancer

(9th House) At the New Moon in Pisces, we all ask ourselves what dreams may come, but all the more so for dreamy Cancer, for this is also a New Moon of possibility. And this year it takes it a little further, asking yourself, what steps you can practically take in the months ahead to make your dreams a closer and more achievable reality. But perhaps one of the primary goals of the New Moon in Pisces is to inspire us by helping to align ourselves with our dreams and hopes. And then using those dreams as a basis for which to create some sort of road map for the future. One thing you may explore with this New Moon, is how your previous beliefs or ideas may have been preventing you from broadening your horizons. Within that context, what might you be willing to let go of? What ideas and concepts are you outgrowing? In this way the New Moon in Pisces can also be a time of release. A release that makes space for greater growth in the future. 

Leo

In Pisces season, which lasts until the Equinox on March 20th, we dare to explore more universal concepts. This can include things like finding deeper meaning in what we do, and searching for a sense of purpose. Why are we here? What is the fundamental meaning of life? And what can I do to make what I do, or my life, more meaningful and invested with purpose? With Saturn in Aquarius for the past 3 years, many a Leo has been feeling like a lot has been stacked up against them. That so much was out of your hands! And the New Moon in Pisces brings the first wistful moments of inspiration to retake control over the course of your own destiny. Endings and beginnings are interwoven in this Moon, moving on beyond old fears, wounds, resentments, and obstacles, and sowing the intention with the New Moon in Pisces for healing and renewal. 

Virgo

(7th House) When you have worthwhile goals to aim for, it can make all the difference in a Virgo’s life. And Mercury in Aquarius is just working up all sorts of creative options to inspire you this week. Mercury will only be in Aquarius thru March 2nd, so take advantage of it while it is here. Aquarius is a sign of invention, innovation and illuminating ideas. Use and apply them! Try something new and different. Meanwhile, the New Moon in Pisces on Monday can be a time of renewal in your relationships and agreements with others. And this time of year can sometimes bring new and inspiring people into your life as a result. But this New Moon is a little more skeptical. It is open to inspiration, but only to those that you know are worth investing in for the long term. If you are wanting greater closeness with others, you may be looking for ways to do so. Sometimes all that is required is to let down the drawbridge, release the alligators from the moat, and make offerings of peace and conciliation. On the other hand, if you are wanting to keep the vandals at bay it may be time to fortify the ramparts. Either way, this New Moon is about making the sorts of commitments and alliances you know you can rely on well into the future.

Libra

(6th House) As Venus enters Aries this week it brings a reminder to you of the sorts of people that you find yourself drawn to and are inspired by: People who are direct and know who they are, and what they want. People who are passionate and enthusiastic about life, and give you permission to be so as well. The New Moon in Pisces is a time of year in which Libra will want to make some sort of renewed commitment to either their health and well being, or their job and daily routines, or perhaps a bit of both. And that can include approaching that sense of renewal with an even deeper commitment towards self-improvement. Use the New Moon in Pisces to redefine your daily routine, create a little more order or organization in your environment and schedule, all for promoting greater health and well-being. That can include finding new walking partners to inspire you to get moving, or doing other activities with others that will decrease stress, and further motivate you. Revise that schedule. And focus on creating a more sustainable and healthful routine, life and lifestyle that you know you can live with.  

Scorpio

(5th House) This is a good week to re-instill your life with just enough inspiration to get you moving and motivated, and out into the world. The New Moon in Pisces each year is an opportunity for Scorpio to reconnect with those people and things that get those creative juices flowing, and that you really enjoy doing and/or being with. This is about making a commitment to having more joy, fun, and pleasure in your life without having to feel guilty about that. With Saturn sitting in the wings, and about to enter Pisces as well, you might want to ask yourself, what you need to let go of, in order to welcome more pleasure into your life? This week make a commitment with the New Moon in Pisces to be inspired, to invest in yourself, to be open to loving and being loved. And to welcome joy back into your life. One thing that will become increasingly important to Sagittarius over the next few years is the idea of making these fundamental areas of your life a stronger and more reliable foundation from which you can then rely on for support for years to come. The New Moon in Pisces is asking you to dream your dream. To be inspired. And then to look for practical ways to make those fundamental dreams a closer reality. Capricorn

(3rd House) On March 7th your ruling planet Saturn will enter the sign of Pisces, and as it does so it will be drawing you into a whole new experience and area of focus. New Moons are times of new beginnings and the New Moon in Pisces brings us the inspiration to move in a new direction. And this New Moon is encouraging you to follow your curiosity and your interests. And if you were to ask yourself what sorts of things you might want to fill your mind with, or be preoccupied with, this is the Moon to work with. What are those things that hold your attention these days? What stirs your curiosity, and makes you want to know more about that subject? In what area would you like to become more skilled? Capricorn will often find themselves with some sort of renewed interest this time of year, but with Saturn lurking in the wings, you are being asked to take those interests a little more seriously.  

Aquarius

(2nd House) Many an Aquarius had found themselves embarking on a whole new journey in their lives over the past few years. The story is not quite over. Because at this point, what you will be focusing on for the next several years, is how to make your life more safe, secure and sustainable. That can be very practical, such as creating a financial plan, managing your resources, or focusing more closely on your priorities. But it can also be about increasing your own sense of self-worth, and whether or not you are using your skills to their greatest potential. The New Moon in Pisces this week is here to inspire you in a certain direction. What might become more apparent over the months ahead are the things that are not practical. What is not possible. But what you will be left with, are what you can do to make your plans a closer and more achievable reality. This New Moon can bring a whole new shift in your priorities. It may require you to release something in order to do so, but for the sake of stability and security it just may be worth it. 

Pisces

(1st House) Many a Pisces will be embarking on a new journey, redefining themselves as well as their goals over the next few years. Much will depend on the degree of Pisces that you have Rising or what day you were born within the sign of Pisces as to when this will all transpire. But know that the New Moon in Pisces is here to set the stage. New Moons are about new beginnings. And in the very early degrees of Pisces, all the more so. This Moon aims to inspire. That may be just a mere tingle of awareness in your everyday life. But it will be when Saturn follows up next month and crosses this degree that the rubber begins to meet the road, Use the New Moon this week to sow your own seeds of inspiration. Where would you like to see yourself 3, 7, 15, 21 years from now? Who are the person that you would like to become? What would it mean for you to be a person of respect?
