Up until last year I was the most depressed, unluckiest person you would have ever met. My glass was always half empty and now it is full and over following. My friends and work colleagues would always say, "Gemma, you are the most unluckiest person I have ever met" as so many bad things would happen to me over and over again now they say the opposite as I know back then I was focusing on the negatives and things I don't want, now I focus on the positives and the things that I do want. 

Through using The Secret I have managed to meet my "Idols" and have so far come into several sums of money. I have been in quite a lot of debt and set up a debt repayment plan where all my debts come off one back account so I could forget about them and focus on the abundance. 

My car MOT at the start of the year cost me almost £800 and after recovering after an expensive Christmas and renovating my house I wasn't sure how I was going to pay this bill. I am lucky my mechanic usually waits a few weeks for the money so within this time I didn't think on how I was going to pay him, I just imagined paying him with a bundle of notes. I also imagined a cheque coming through the post. Within 2 weeks I got a letter from The Student Loan company stating I was due a rebate as I had over paid my loan. I was a student back in 2001, quite some time ago and I had finished paying off my loan in 2008 so was confused why they had taken so long to contact me. When I called them they informed me that I was due £915. It was enough to pay my car bill and the builders for some of the renovation work. Thank You. 

Since then I focus on the abundance instead of paying money out I think of the money coming back to me. When I totalled what I spend on monthly debts I imagine that is the money I am saving as I am imagining the debt as being paid off. So far this year I have had a Student Loan Rebate £915, A rebate for over paying my Gas and Electricity of almost £600, An unexpected work bonus of over £1000 which I help manifest by stating daily my work appreciates me and my colleagues and we are rewarded financially. This bonus came so unexpectedly that even some management were shocked when they opened their pay slips, this help pay for my legal fees and survey for selling my house (another amazing story I will tell soon). A £200 tax rebate, I was completely confused why I was entitled to this but said Thank You anyway. A £50 insurance rebate. Various small money gifts and finding coins in the street. 

I had 2 extra tickets for a pop concert that were bought in error as the website server went down when I was paying and I ended up with 4 instead of 2. They cost me total of £225 for the 2 extra and only managed to sell them for £155, I was a bit disappointed but affirmed "I would get more then I expected for them". When we met the buyer of the tickets he gave us £160. We had to book a hotel room for the concert and because the Pop band were very popular all the hotel rooms in the city were sold out and were charging 2-4 times their normal room charge some of them £180 for a night but I knew I would be able to get something last minute at a good price which we did, the hotel room cost us £30 when all my friends where paying at least £80 then my boyfriend found beer tokens on the floor for £12 at the concert so I guess we made the difference up selling the tickets for less than I wanted. And to just to add at the the weekend I won 4 numbers on the lottery and I've never even had 3 before. Thank You. 

When I want something but can't afford it I don't think of the money or where it comes from I just imagine me having what I want. I am attending some classes at the moment and I don't think about the money I have to pay each week to attend them, I just imagine myself at the classes and money always comes to me when I need it. I used to be a part time professional Dog Groomer but due to other commitments I had to give up and needed the money to attend this weeks class. When I was dropping my dog off at the local kennels for a weekend away the owner asked me if I wanted to earn some money by bathing her dogs. Thank You. 

I affirm to myself every day, "Money comes to me easily and effortlessly", "Money comes to me expected and unexpectedly", "I always have enough money to spare and share", "I am grateful for money coming into and staying in my life". Also each time money comes into my life I always donate to charity, weather this is a few pounds sponsoring someone or pennies in a charity tin, it all amounts up and comes back Tenfold. When I use my bank card to make purchases I say to myself, "I bless my bank account with abundance". For every purchase I make I thank the universe for being able to make this purchase, Everyday I write down 24 things, one for each hour of the day where I am grateful for something, it might not be for how I want things to be right now but you have to be grateful for those things before the better things come into your life. 

I am currently selling my house at the moment and will have some more amazing stories to share with you all soon. 

I admit sometimes it's not been easy but believe me it does get easier and if something isn't happening the way you want it, maybe you just need to change things around for example not thinking about money to pay for something, think of having that something in your hand. If I can do it everyone else can. The Secret really does work, you just need to believe no matter hard you think it might be and to be grateful for it.
