To Know Your True Self is Ultimate Freedom

Knowing the true self is the source of real fulfillment and happiness. It is not temporary things or manifesting things in the world of form. Jesus said this is the truth that sets free, to know oneself.
Jesus did not spend his time teaching people how to get more possessions. In fact, he avoided such topics. This is demonstrated in the story of the man who came to him complaining about his brother refusing to share their father’s inheritance with him. Jesus told him, “Man, who made Me a judge or an arbitrator over you?” And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses. “
Jesus came to awaken mankind to who we are so we can transcend the world of materiality and find true freedom. This does not mean that we are to live in squalor and misery but find true liberty and truth which then makes everything else available but without attachment.
To know the true self is why we are here
To know the true self is why we are here. This self beyond the material world of form who is one with God or one with all that is. This Self is permanent, immutable, and never changes as the shadows (forms) of this life pass. That’s true liberation. That is crystalwind enlightenment. To find the self who never changes and who is not defined by the passing shadows of materiality. To think external things can ever fulfill us is an illusion.
When we discover this self within, the Christ within, the world of form loses its hold over us. We stop obsessing over “things” and discover that we are free and complete. Things can come and go but we remain immovable and unshaken because we have found the Self that is COMPLETION itself. The one far above the world.
Buddha talked about this, Jesus talked about this and so did every true spiritual master.
Jesus said, “Seek first the kingdom of God (within) and all THESE things SHALL BE ADDED unto you.” But the things themselves become secondary because they are simply a means of operating in this world of form. They are temporary tools as we walk this path of awakening to our divine nature. Material things are temporary. So how can they define you? When you realize this, you are no longer consumed with the things of this crystal world but consumed with living in alignment with your true self. Yet as you follow this Love that you are, your individual path unfolds almost naturally and effortlessly.
Non-resistance and non-attachment
The highest path of life is that of non-resistance and non-attachment to this world. It is to know the true self within and enter a place of trusting allowance. This state of living from the true center within, the kingdom within ensures what you need comes to you when you need it. But you lose all sense of attachment to this world and the need to accumulate and attach to things to feel some sense of identity or power. Jesus called this constant longing, covetousness. Longing only exists when one feels LACKING.
This is the truth many manifesting teachers and schools of thought that are obsessed with attracting things don’t know and that’s why they only focus on getting and accumulating THINGS, thinking this will bring freedom. But eventually, they too will find that getting all the things you want does not bring enlightenment or true freedom. A car, a house, and millions cannot liberate the soul.
Buddha said, “the root of suffering is attachment.” Attachment even to desire causes suffering because we become enslaved to the ego. Desire in and of itself is not the problem because desires arise naturally, but attachment to desire is the problem. Desire should be treated with simple awareness. Like the waves rising and falling. In this way, it seems our purest desires naturally unfold and are fulfilled along our highest life path. A state of peace and allowing.
Eventually as one awakens to their divine nature and oneness with God, one stops desiring. And yet is in a state of greater abundance than one who is attached to the world and the body. Just as God has no desires but just IS ALL that is. It’s a strange mystery but one only the sincere heart can understand.
The path of perfect allowing
I think Jim Carrey may have glimpsed into this truth when he said. “I think everybody should get rich and famous and do everything they ever dreamed of so they can see that it’s not the answer”
The path of enlightenment is one of surrender and allowing and oneness. The interesting thing is that in this place, pure desires get fulfilled without attachment almost as a by-product of just BEING, and neediness is removed. It’s almost as if desire ends yet the body is taken care of effortlessly, doing this and that from perfect flow and non-resistance. One flows like the crystal wind ocean in perfect allowing and contentment. Because at the root of all desire is a longing for happiness and fulfillment. Once one has found these within, the external longing ceases.
This may be what Apostle Paul realized when he said”
“I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things, I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ (the true self within) who strengthens me”
Understanding this one can understand why the great spiritual masters seemed not to be concerned about material things yet lived in absolute abundance and seeming miracles, as a way of life.
Mwendwa’s profound, yet simple teachings about how individuals create their reality through their thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, have helped many find freedom from suffering, helplessness, and victimhood and regain their divine power and freedom. She is dedicated to helping people live more empowered and fulfilled lives.
Mwendwa’s teachings often bring to life the mystical and spiritual truths of the bible and Jesus to a modern generation, lifting the veil of religious dogma to reveal the universal truths of oneness.
