Mercury enters Aquarius- Feb 13- 5.43 pm EST to Mar 5- 5.23 am EDT. He then enters Pisces until Mar 21 EDT. At 8.19 pm that day he enters Aries and begins a new cycle of inspired thoughts, ideas, and new beginnings. Feb 13 when Mercury enters Aquarius he clears his retrograde shadow. He was retrograde (review and revision) Jan 05 to 25 but still in the shadow influence until Feb. 13. I can feel a difference. Since Dec, 2015 transiting Mercury in Capricorn was square (finding new ways of doing things) my natal Sun (focus) natal Mercury (communication) and natal Venus (creative expression) on and off. I have been feeling like I have been living in a time warp. Now that Mercury has shifted I too have shifted.

So what can we expect with Mercury’s journey through Aquarius? The Winged Messenger rules the intellect, reasoning, communication, (speaking and writing) siblings, neighbourhood activities and transportation. Mercury is naturally curious and seeks knowledge but not necessarily meaning (that depends on the sign he visits). In Aquarius he is independent, individualistic, creative, innovative, and Cosmically Connected. Mercury’s visit here reminds us to remember our hopes, wishes, dreams, and the gifts we have to share with the world. Mercury is exalted in Aquarius so his energy is enhanced. Aquarius is the sign of strong psychic ability so while Mercury visits here expect your intuitive knowing to become more powerful. The key is learning to listen to that knowing. The key phrase for Aquarius is I KNOW.

When you communicate with courage, conviction, and love, you can change the world.”

The planetary ruler for this Mercury in Aquarius journey is Uranus in Aries (breaking through to the Authentic Self). That is very appropriate as Mercury (our thoughts and perceptions) is asking us to find the courage to follow our path with strength and conviction but to also let our Spiritual Essence, Source and Great Mystery guide us. The Archangels for this Mercury journey are the angels of the 5^th Ray of knowledge and healing. Raphael, the shinning one who heals, and Mary, Divine Unconditional Love. When you call on them they will always guide you through whatever you are experiencing.
