2023 Capricorn Super Full Moon

This Capricorn Full Moon is the 1^st of 4 Super Full Moons in a row when Sister Moon is closest to Earth.

She pulls on the ocean tides, and our Emotional 0cean, guiding us to listen to and really hear our Soul’s Wise Guidance as we travel our life’s Path. When we allow ourselves to FEEL we connect with our intuitive knowing and Inner Truth. Then we KNOW which path is right for us. That will be the theme of these Super Full Moons.

In the natural zodiac Capricorn is associated with the 10^th house of career, ambition, and our status in the world. It needs structure and form to feel secure. It is also the sign associated with society’s rules and regulations. And limitation and restrictions. But this Full Moon at 11 degrees Capricorn 19 minutes is “out of bounds” calling us to break free to follow our Soul Purpose Path. I believe that is the spiritual gift of Capricorn. The Moon here activates the Tarot Constellation of The Lovers: relationship and choice. The choice to unite in love or the choice to separate in fear. The Clan Mother who guides this Capricorn Moon is Talks With Relations. She is the maker of relatives, keeper of Earth and nature’s needs, and the Mother of the Planetary Family. She teaches us to enter the Sacred Space of others with respect and honouring. She teaches us to unite in love. I also believe Capricorn represents the Council of Grandmothers who will always guide us with their wisdom when we ask for their help.

At this Full Moon the Sun is at 11 degrees Cancer 19 travelling with Mercury (our thoughts and perceptions) at 14 degrees Cancer 04 and Juno (important relationships) at 06 degrees Cancer 16. The key phrase for Cancer is “I feel everything deeply”. This trio says feel whatever it is you are feeling. But express it with Love. They activate the Tarot Constellation of The Chariot, mastery through chance and stepping onto the Mystical Path. The horses drawing the chariot will take you where you want to go if you know the way. The Cancer planets are guided by the Capricorn Moon (intuitive guidance). The Clan Mother who guides Cancer is Loves All Things. She is the Mother of Unconditional Love. She teaches us acceptance and to forgive ourselves and others for past hurts and unite in love.

The planetary dance at this Super Full Moon holds much harmony. The Moon is guided by Saturn retrograde at 07 degrees Pisces 00 (connecting to mystical guidance). Saturn is sextile (new opportunities) Jupiter at 09 degrees Taurus 42 (expansion of what is of true value and importance) and Jupiter is trine the Moon (removal of obstacles) and sextile the Cancer planets (guided by our inner knowing). Saturn is trine the Cancer cluster (harmony and ease). Saturn is guided by Neptune at 27 degrees Pisces 41. Neptune has just turned retrograde (June 30/31) asking us to look deeply within and break free from illusion and choose the path of Inner Illumination.  He is sextile Pluto Rx at 29 degrees Capricorn 33 (transformation, release, and renewal). That is on a personal level but also for the collective consciousness of society.

Our Animal Totem guide for the Moon in Capricorn is Snow Goose who helps guide us toward our dreams, hopes, and visions. For the Cancer planets we are guided by Flicker Woodpecker who leads us through life’s transitions with All Healing Love. Flicker’s drumming is aligned with the Heart Beat of Mother Earth. They are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere. For all of us the Sacred Animal for the Moon in Capricorn is The Unicorn. Once we climb the mountain the Unicorn greets us and with its magical power guides us to new beginnings.
