Out my window, I spy a walnut in my neighbor's plot. Lush tree, huge branches, it's the tallest in the block. Always produced a good number of walnuts, which are harvested now in May and June.

I have been noticing that the leaves are turning the yellow, as it is the beginning of winter, and that is normal, every year she drops her leaves and looks like they have dried. Typical of the trees that grow in this cold season. However, when spring arrives, such trees renew and become more vicious and rejuvenated, filling themselves with fresh leaves, holes and fruit.

What caught my eye this year is that the yellow leaves are falling as usual, but there is a green layer underneath them. Curiosity made me come closer to her to see what's up. I noticed another parasitic plant has taken over the walnut. I remembered my college days, we had a school subject called forestry, which taught us about plants.

I understood that this walnut is doomed by suffocation and malnutrition, as the parasite will suck all its energy. For those who don't know, a parasitic plant has no roots on earth; it grows and grows, stuck in another host tree. It gets so cold in the shell that it's not easy to remove. From personal experience, I've tried this before, and no matter how much you remove the parasitic ramifications, there's always a small piece left, and it sprouts again.

Looking through a broader perspective, we see how nature shows what humans often do not want or care to see. As I've said many times, I was lucky to be born in the rock, far from the city, and nature there was the great confidant and also the teacher in teaching. I learned from childhood that she teaches and shows us everything we need to understand.

Interesting how this fact shows us the reality. The parasitic plant doesn't even bother to create its own roots, a condition that could keep it alive and sustain itself. I already know the future of the walnut, because I've seen this movie before. Each year, in the spring, without much strength to replant all that lush pasture, the walnut needs to let go of some branches because the parasite does not diminish its ravenous hunger. On the contrary, each year it gets bigger and needs the walnut sap more and more. And in 3 or 4 years, the walnut will have no vitality to sustain itself. He ends up dying this way, and taking along his host, for the destiny of the one who destroys is always the same of that which was destroyed.

Pay attention to the signs! This is the call that is being heard a lot lately. We are at the end of the great Planetary Cycle, and the lessons need to be learned, for there will be no other incarnation with these possibilities, not at least here on this Planet. Nature is teaching a lot of people a moral lesson.

What is still seen out there, is an increasing number of people acting in the same way as the walnut parasite. Tap into other people’s energy; other people’s work; other people’ s resources; situations existing or purposefully created for that purpose. Cleverness as many like to say. Little do they know that they will have the same end as that hostel that sucked so much to the point of killing the walnut, and in the end, without knowing what it is like to look for her own livelihood, ended up having the same end as the one that sustained her.

What consoles us now is that this cycle is ending. In New Earth, there will be no more parasites feeding at the expense of others, neither in nature nor among humans. Competition is a characteristic of the Third Dimension. In New Earth, everything will be cooperation.
