You have probably heard the expression, ‘radiate your light.’ But what does that mean, exactly? And how is it different from walking around as a ‘regular’ human?
First, everyone one the planet is radiating a certain amount of light, or of who they actually and naturally are. Small children can detect a person’s radiance. They are drawn to those who are more consciously radiating their light.
But most humans are pretty closed down in that respect. They may have brilliant minds, and bright and engaging personalities, but that doesn’t mean they are in a stare of grace with their divinity.
So, what exactly does it mean to radiate our light, then? Let’s start with what it doesn’t mean.
It’s not about being empathic and sympathetic toward others. It’s not about giving to others before self. It’s not about trying to heal others. It’s not about activism, or good causes.
it’s not about saving the environment.
It’s about being integrated, our dark and our light, our masculine and our feminine, our human and our Christos Consciousness.
It’s about being sovereign. It’s about taking total responsibility for our creations. It’s knowing that our creator energies reside within us, not outside us.
So, we appear to others, not as a perfect human specimen. Actually we are sometimes quite impatient with lower consciousness. But we appear to be self sufficient.
This is a significant tell about someone who is radiating their light. They don’t need drama, or any type of energy feeding. They are self-fulfilled.
This doesn’t mean they do not enjoy interacting with otters. They are kind and compassionate to others. Meaning, they might feel into others’ but they understand that others must go through their own experiences. But, and this is a significant difference, they do NOT take on others’ issues, or unresolved emotions.
So, these characteristics create a type of new energy that is quite different from an old energy dynamic. It’s a truly balanced energy. Even if we are going through what feels like personal chaos in our life, which isn’t really chaos, but is recalibration of the highest order….we are still radiating our light.
Another significant difference is that we have been releasing our old identity, that of the mind being in charge of our life. We are going from a mental-based to a heart and soul-based reality.
NEVER MIND
It’s been said that the body is the last to catch up with our expanding consciousness. I contend that the mind is a runner-up, it’s the last to relinquish its hold on our life.
But once that begins to happen, we appear quite different. We no longer have that persistent and free-floating anxiety that most humans endure. We appear lighter than most.
We have released much more than most humans are ready or willing to let go of. Our old story is going. The memories are even fading. Or we are seeing our past in an entirely new light.
Integrating our human and our eternal self isn’t about becoming a better, shinier human. It’s a recognition, a conscious awareness that we are both human and divine. Yes, the human may look and act differently than most other humans. But the true distinction is that they are highly aware, they are aware of their eternal nature.
And that awareness isn’t intellectual, it’s visceral, and it’s tangible, and it’s sensual.
They appear to enjoy life. They take pleasure in the everyday, simple things. They are in the moment. They understand that their point of creation is being in the now moment. It’s not about trying, striving, or setting goals.
Things seem to flow to them with ease. They will opt for a choice that feels joyful over a choice from a place of obligation or doing the ‘logical’ thing. They understand that making choices based on joy is the way toward more joy.
Even if it seems to contradict the more logical choice.
So, radiance is a byproduct of all these qualities and characteristics. It comes from a human allowing their eternal self, their soul, their consciousness……whatever name you want to give it……to be the prime director in their life.
And, in turn, we walk around, just simply being in our joy, not attempting to change anyone or anything outside ourselves. We are in a state of allowing, or a state of grace. Allowing life and our own energies to serve us.
