They say that breaking up is hard to do, but try waking up! My advice is to stay asleep as long as possible. Waking up is brutal. It turns your life upside down.

Oh, but wait….you found this post, so there must be a part of you that has begun to awaken. Or you are deep into your awakening, or somewhere in between.

Sorry, then. Too late. No backsies. No blue pill. You have officially left the matrix, never to return. Well, you can go back there to visit for short periods, but you’ll probably pass on that.

But FYI, you never were a part of that matrix.

If you are experiencing your ascension, your embodied enlightenment in this lifetime, you have incarnated enough lifetimes on the planet to be in a very different place than the rest of humanity.

You knew before this lifetime, as a soul, that this one would be special. You wanted to taste what it would be like to experience life in the most intimate way, as your human and soul merge. As they become partners, who have the deepest love and respect for one another.

You wanted to walk around and enjoy this time and space reality in the most sensual of ways. And on your own terms.

The ancestral body you inherited would become a body that responded to your eternal self, not to a history of damaged DNA.

Life would serve you in a way that reflected the joy of your eternal consciousness. Not in a way that mirrored your limited human personality.

But to get to that point is pretty arduous. It requires an adept and courageous soul. It means being very honest with yourself. And it means loving yourself just as you are.

It requires a trust in a part of you that you have fallen out of trust with.

It requires a patience with your human self and your body. Things will come up both physically and emotionally that will scare the crap out of you. Your mind will freak out. It will feel like nothing is working. At least not in the old ways.

But it’s been your deepest desire. As a soul you wanted this more than life itself.  At least more that the old, colorless life you were living. You wanted to dive into the new. You wanted to experience something that has not been done before by such a large number of humans.

By large, I mean a few thousand, not millions. At least not yet. The planet is still in its beginning stages of awakening. I’m sure you have noticed that.

But as a soul you were ok with that. You wanted to experience this transformation for yourself. You had the wisdom to know that as you transform and integrate yourself, and you just walk around radiating your joy, that’s how you best serve humanity.

So, awakening is brutal. It’s much easier to stay asleep. But if you stay asleep, you don’t get to taste the kind of freedom that humanity has only dreamed of.
