The Council: The Superconscious Mind
- Details
- Written by William LePar
Here William LePar’s spiritual source, The Council gives us a brief description of the term superconscious mind.
Question: What is the superconscious mind referred to in much of the psychic or spiritual publications?
The Council: Generally, it is a term that is used to explain the overall action of the soul. It is very hard to put into your vocabulary the actions and activities of the soul, and what has happened over man's history is that in his concepts he has given certain activities, whether they be individual activities or overall activities, labels. The superconscious in most cases is referring to a higher degree of activity of the awareness. But when you speak of the awareness what are you really speaking of? Certainly not the physical organ, the brain, but you are speaking of an activity of the soul in the material manifestation, whether it has received those activities from outside stimulation in the material or whether it has received it directly from its own experiences in other occurrences or other experiences. Do you understand?
Questioner: Yes.
The Council: One should not become too attached to labels. At times, this clouds the vision of many. Try to sense what those terms are trying to convey. Very well. Does that answer your question sufficiently?
Questioner: Yes, thank you very much.
