Shiva Lingham : Sexual Healing Stone

The Shiva Lingam represents harmony peace and balance.  This powerful stone assists in the union of opposites, masculine and feminine, body and soul. The Lingam is an abstract representation of the God Shiva. It is used for worship in temples and shrines and is seen as a symbol of the energy of Shiva himself. Shiva Lingam is an egg-shaped stone made of Jasper representing the Hindu God Shiva's union with his consort Kali-ma.  The Shiva Lingam raises and controls kundalini energy activating the base and sacral chakras. It is perfect for facilitating spiritual evolution through sexual healing.

The legend says that Shiva Lingams originate from a meteorite that collided with Earth millions of years ago. The currents of river Narmada in India have helped produce the egg-shaped form of this stone. The Narmada is a tributary of the Ganges River.  Shiva Lingam is a symbol of love. This stone opens the path to true love starting with sacred self. The true love relationship is a relationship with our own being. When we obtain love we experience God. It is necessary to be in love and peace with oneself so one can love others without fear.  This stone asks you to release all that you have outgrown. It is particularly useful for emotional pain that arises from childhood, especially from sexual abuse.

The lingam is displayed alongside the Yoni/ womb, a symbol of the goddess Shakti female force.  The union of lingam and yoni is the alignment of the sacred male and female. The shape represents the masculine energy; the pattern represents the feminine energy. Each stone is totally unique, no two are alike. Lingams are very smooth and healing to the touch.

The Shiva lingham is composed of river Jasper. This stone is known as the supreme nurturer, it balances one through times of stress, bringing serenity.  Jasper provides protection and absorbs negative energy.  It balances yin and yang, clears electromagnetic and environmental pollution, including radiation.  It encourages honesty within one's self.  Provides courage, aids quick thinking and promotes organization in ones life.
