What is it that you did that caused you to have a major breakthrough in this life?

For me it was walking away from the 9-5 grind (as a bookkeeper) that was stressing me out beyond belief. That was back in 2005. I struggled for 5 long years from 2005 to 2010 figuring out how to earn an income working from home. I eventually taught myself how to make websites but I lacked the knowledge of how energy works, so I struggled. I was always “efforting” …. trying to create what I wanted. I was so good at creating what I didn’t want lol. Finally in 2011 I’d decided I’d had enough.

I sold everything and went to live in Mexico (from Cape Town, South Africa). There in Mexico I got in touch with my higher consciousness and everything changed for me.

In 2013 I became a Reiki Master and I haven’t looked back. I’ve never not had money, it’s always flowing. I learned quickly that resistance to the flow is what creates barriers to manifesting. I’ve had no paycheck since 2010 and I always have money. I know without a doubt I am in the Flow and this is my natural state of being. I have the BEST boss in the World! ME!!!

I love my life, I love who I am and let me tell you it wasn’t easy. I crawled through the maya (illusions of the small self)- I lived with the Judge (my inner critic), I had to face all my demons, the self-loathing, the blame, the shame etc., you name it. But I never gave up. My guides wouldn’t have let me anyway. I’ve been through the “Dark night of the Soul” and I came out unscathed – not a hair on my head was harmed.

Money buys nothing of value, it pays the rent and buys the whiskey as the saying goes, but it doesn’t buy true love or happiness. And that is what I wish for you above all else.

So my message to you today is to never give up! You are so loved, if only you knew how much!! You are also immensely supported. Please know that ANYTHING is possible, and that YOU truly are the creator of this movie you’re in. Don Miguel Ruiz calls this movie “your story”. For me its more like a movie. My movie set is my life circumstances. I’ve learned that I am truly the Director and Producer of my movie, and its up to me how I write the script.

When I finally gave up all those years ago I was telling the Universe that I am surrendering. And when I finally let go, I let the most exquisite inner Light into my Being, and I am now addicted to it! It is my daily companion, my guide, my lover (for nothing and no one has ever loved me like this!) my healer, and my creator.

I live in permanent gratitude for the overwhelming gift I’ve been given – that of connecting to my Inner Spirit, my True Self, call it what you want. It knows everything about me. It is infinite Intelligence, infinite possibility and perfect love. It humbles me by its greatness. It surprises me with its wisdom, and it never ceases to amaze me how much it loves me!

I hope this message helps you in some way to navigate this road – the road less travelled – with more ease and grace. There truly is nothing to fear and I know I’ve said that many times, but fear is a falsehood you can do without. Trust me on this.

Get to know your true self – that Inner Guide/Spirit – the Voice of Truth within you, and allow it too love you like no other.
