O Divine Mother,

On this new day as we go forward

Thank you for your grace and your blessings.

Bless this time of challenge

And our endeavors to better the world

And help ease the lives of those who suffer.

Open our eyes again

To the sheer beauty of this place—

The knowing trees and the surging waves,

The floating clouds and the nourishing rain.

Help us to find kindness

And deeper compassion in this dizzying time

When some are lost and yet many are found.

Help us to awaken more and more

To our innate goodness.

May our original blueprint

Of perfect functioning be remembered

And engendered in our very cells.

Let the blessings of our life

Be savored—

Our gladness,

Our ferns and pansies,

Our toes in the mud.

Our righteous action,

Our trust in our own selves,

Our connections to the great Mystery.
