2023 Gemini New Moon

This New Moon is located at 26 degrees Gemini 43 minutes opposite Earth at 26 degrees Sagittarius 43 minutes. Oppositions ask us to find balance and harmony. This Gemini New Moon cycle activates the Tarot Constellation of The Lovers; relationship and choice.

The choice to unite in Love or the choice to separate in fear and live in duality. Gemini’s symbol is The Twins. The New Moon is travelling with the Asteroid Juno at 27 degrees Gemini 31 minutes. She is the Goddess of relationship and balanced union with another, mutual trust, and understanding. Her shadow is jealousy, possessiveness, and projection (I put the blame on you). But her greatest gift is spiritual relationship and empowerment for all. The Earth in Sagittarius activates the Tarot Constellation of The Hierophant, the wisdom keeper. Learning to find the wisdom in all our experiences.

The New Moon is guided by Mercury at 11 degrees Gemini 52 minutes (our thoughts, perceptions, and how we communicate). Mercury here reminds us how we think creates our reality, duality or harmony. “Change your thoughts and you change your life”. That is the theme for this Moon cycle. Mercury is sextile (new thinking creates new opportunities) Venus at 11 degrees Leo 17 and Mars at 16 degrees Leo 36 (responding guided by the compassionate heart). Venus is the Soul Centered guide for Gemini. Mars and Venus are in the Balsamic Phase of their relationship cycle that began on 06 March 2022 at 00 degrees Aquarius (new vision). The theme of the Balsamic Phase is healing, forgiveness, completion, release and renewal. This influence will be with us off and on until their next relationship cycle begins in 22 Feb 2024. Again they will meet in Aquarius (new relationship vision).

Mercury is also relating to Saturn Rx at 07 degrees Pisces 12. They are in Square to each other (motivation for change and finding new ways of doing things).  Saturn has just moved retrograde (June 17) and gives us the opportunity to see the wisdom in our experiences since he entered Pisces on 07 March. He will move direct on 04 Nov. I believe Saturn in Pisces supports us to strengthen our spiritual foundation. While retrograde it is the time for review and revision. Saturn is guided by Neptune (guidance from the Mystical Realm).

Neptune is currently located at 27 degrees Pisces 38 minutes. Neptune asks what is true/what is not true/what can never be true. In Pisces he guides us to listen to our Inner Knowing. In other words do not believe in everything you hear. If it feels right embrace it. If it does not resonate it is not true for you. One of the shadow themes of Gemini is scattered thinking. Neptune is opposite Ceres at 29 degrees Virgo 12 (the guardian of Earth’s energies, unconditional love and acceptance). They form a Mutable Grand Cross with the Gemini New Moon and Sagittarius Earth. Breaking free from whatever blocks you from your Soul’s wise guidance.

Pluto (healing and Transformation) is retrograde at 29 degrees Capricorn 52 minutes. He is in a Grand Trine (pyramid power) with Ceres in Virgo (healing into wholeness) and Vesta at 28 degrees Taurus 03 minutes. Vesta is the guardian of the Divine Flame within and our Spiritual gifts to share on our path. The trine energy is removal of obstacles and learning to flow with ease. Pluto is the Soul Centered guide for Pisces. The Universe always supports us to change and grow on the Path of Illumination.

Solstice is happening on June 21. New season. New possibilities. I will write more closer to that time.

 

Our Animal Totem guide for Gemini is Deer, sensitivity, empathy, and compassionate kindness. Deer also calls us to new adventures. For Sagittarius we are guided by Elk, strength, stamina, and the support of spiritual community, and Owl, spiritual wisdom. They are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere.
