Aquarius is the sign that holds our hopes, wishes, and dreams.

This Full Moon highlights the gifts of healing to the world that our unique special self has to give. It shines its light on friendships and groups of people we are drawn to as well as humanitarian causes. It is the sign of the individual but also the collective consciousness. If we join together in love and unity we can change the world. Now more than ever the world is in desperate need of that change at this timing. Venus in Leo (love) still on her retrograde journey is asking us to embrace what is of true and importance and release what is not.

When Venus entered Leo on June 05 she was opposite Pluto retrograde in Aquarius (release and transformation). They activated The Tarot Constellation of Strength, courage to create the new and strengthening our connection to Cosmic Consciousness. The Sun entered Leo and the Earth entered Aquarius on July 22 echoing that theme. That same day Venus in Leo moved retrograde asking us to look deeply within and discover our inner strength and connect with our compassionate heart. In Esoteric Astrology they activated the 5^th Ray of knowledge and healing with Archangels Raphael, the shinning one who heals, and Mary, acceptance and Universal Love. This Full Moon emphasizes that energy and Venus will continue to carry it as she remains in Leo until Oct 08/09. She is a 5^th Ray planet so we can say she always carries this energy. The Astrological signs of the 5^th Ray are Leo (courage to be yourself) Aquarius (Cosmic Consciousness) and Sagittarius (spiritual expansion).

The Full Moon is travelling with Earth at 09 degrees Aquarius 16 minutes and the Sun is at 09 degrees Leo 16 minutes. They are square (motivation for change and finding new ways of doing things) Jupiter at 13 degrees Taurus 45 (expansion of what is of true value). Jupiter is the Soul Centered ruler of Aquarius (prosperity and abundance for all). Saturn is the traditional ruler of Aquarius and he is located at 05 degrees Pisces 39 retrograde asking us to connect with our spiritual values. He is opposite Mercury at 05 degrees Virgo 13 (mind, body, spiritual unity). Mercury (our thoughts and perceptions) is travelling with Pallas Athene (wisdom) at 10 degrees Virgo 17 and Mars (action) at 13 degrees Virgo 42. Mars is trine (ease and flow) Jupiter in Taurus (what is of true value). The Sun is in his dignity in Leo and asks us to shine our special light at this Full Moon.

Remember we said when Venus entered Leo she was opposite (finding balance) Pluto (releasing what no longer serves us). Pluto plays an important role at this Full Moon. He is now retrograde at 28 degrees Capricorn 52 and still sextile (new opportunities) Neptune Rx at 27 degrees Pisces 25 (spiritual illumination). Although their Yod to Venus is no longer within orb Pluto is square (motivation to transform) the North Node at 28 degrees 23 (inspired new beginnings) and the South Node at 28 degrees Libra 23 (healing old relationship patterns). Venus Rx at 26 Leo 44 is sextile (ease and flow) the Libra South Node (letting the past go with love) but their Yod (change, release, letting go) to Neptune in Pisces is still in effect (illusion or illumination). The good news is that Venus is trine the Aries North Node (creative inspiration). The message is when one door closes another opens.

The modern ruler of Aquarius is Uranus currently at 22 degrees Taurus 46 (breaking through to what is of true value). At this Full Moon he is trine (removal of obstacles) Pluto in Capricorn (release and transformation) and sextile (spiritual opportunities) Neptune in Pisces (spiritual power). Uranus connects us to Cosmic Healing Energy. On Aug 09 he will square Venus Rx in Leo supporting us to break through to what we really want. That same day Mercury in Virgo (healing into wholeness) will trine Jupiter in Taurus (spiritual vision). As I have said many times the Universe always supports our journey. Challenges lead to rewards.

Our Animal Totem guide for the Moon and Earth in Aquarius is Otter, companionship and joyful sharing. Otters are curious and playful and they take care of one another. For the Sun in Leo we are guided by Salmon, courage and determination to create the new. Salmon never lets Bears and other beasts stop it from its quest. They are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere. The Clan Mother who guides us at this Aquarius Full Moon is Wisdom Keeper. She is the mother of friendship, planetary unity, and mutual understanding.
