2022 Pisces Full Moon

There are times when I don’t know what to say. This is one of them. Elizabeth, queen of England and the commonwealth, passed into spirit on Sept 08. She was very revered by many people around the world including Canada. On Sept 08 the Moon was in Aquarius ruled by Uranus (freedom). Transiting Jupiter retrograde in Aries was passing over her natal Mercury (embarking on a long distance journey). The end of an era. Remarkably at the Queen’s passing a double rainbow appeared over Buckingham place. Blessings on her new journey.

And what blessings does this Pisces Full Moon offer us. The Moon is travelling with the Earth at 17 degrees Pisces 41. Juno retrograde (important relationships) is at 14 degrees Pisces and Astraea retrograde (inner balance) is at 15 degrees Pisces. They are all guided by retrograde Neptune at 24 degrees Pisces 12 (spiritual illumination). The Sun is at 17 degrees Virgo 41. Together they continue the theme of The Tarot Constellation of The Hermit, Introspection and personal integrity. The Sun in Virgo is the bridge of healing into wholeness and the Pisces planets are journeying within Source and mystical awakening. The North Node at 14 degrees Taurus (new directions) and Uranus retrograde at 18 degrees Taurus 48 (what is of true value and importance in our lives) are working in harmony with this Full Moon. The South Node is at 14 degrees Scorpio (release and transformation) also in harmony with this Lunation but opposite (the need for balance) Uranus (breaking free from the past).

The traditional ruler of Virgo is Mercury (our thoughts, perceptions, and our way of communicating). The messenger planet has just turned retrograde at 08 degrees Libra 55 adding to the looking within focus. In Libra he is asking us to find inner balance, harmony, and tranquility so our communication reflects that theme. He is trine (ease and flow) Mars at 11 degrees Gemini 23 (healing issues of polarity). But Mercury is opposite Jupiter retrograde at 05 degrees Aries 49 asking us to not to “leap before looking” but to delay taking action until we know where we want to go. Mercury will be retrograde until Oct 02 when he moves direct at 24 degrees Virgo opposite Neptune Rx at 23 Pisces (illusion or illumination). And so the looking within time continues.  

Our Animal Totem guides for Pisces are Cougar, spiritual power, and Wolf, the teacher who guides us through change. For Virgo we are guided by Brown Bear, introspection, healing and The Healer. They are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere. The Clan Mother who guides the Pisces Moon and other energies in Pisces is Weighs The Truth. She is the guardian of Divine Law and equality. She teaches us to see through deception and know the truth. She teaches us to embrace integrity and find healing solutions to whatever challenges us. For the Sun in Virgo we are guided by Setting Sun Woman. ). She is the keeper of tomorrow’s goals and dreams. She teaches us the proper use of will, personal integrity, and how to live our truth. She teaches us to honour the Sacred in All That Is.

Here are the doorways out of the maze. Chiron Rx at 08 degrees Aries (healing the wounds that prevent us from being our authentic selves) is the spiritual guide for the Sun and Mercury in Virgo. He is opposite the Asteroid Astraea at 06 degrees Libra (inner balance creates outer harmony) and they are in a T Square with Pallas Athene Rx at 12 degrees Capricorn (embracing your own wise guidance). Chiron is trine (ease and flow) Vesta at 09 degrees Leo (being guided by your compassionate heart with loving kindness for all). At the release point for the T Square we find the Fixed Star Murzims at 07 degrees Cancer. It is the courage to speak our truth.

As I have been writing this post our roof is being repaired. It was damaged when the Shaman Tree split in half in May. I keep reminding myself to be tranquil within. Whatever challenges the outside world creates inner peace is the solution.
