Sabian Symbols Showing the Light of Telepathic Communication Expressed Through Our Spiritual Power.

This coming Full Moon World Teacher Festival is the thirty-first Full Moon since the December 2020 Solstice conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn at 1 Aquarius which launched new 20 and 200 year eras.

This Christfest will bring a new loving Wisdom to the world wherever we have 14 Gemini and Sagittarius. Joy, humor, grace, and unique gifts and blessings are shown by this chart, as well as a “cutting, grinding, and polishing” effect which will help us reconsider many things as we stand on the threshold of a new era.

I’ll speak more about the bigger picture after the Sabian Symbols. For now, let’s take a closer look at this distributive, opening, curious, freeing, visionary, and courageous Lunation which requires that we hear the call to renewal by burying the past as we stand next to our “pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.” This one brings a new inner light, inner hope, inner fortitude, and inner freedom to enjoy life on our own terms. By forgiving and releasing much, we allow grace to enter our lives.

We are still in a time when the old answers cannot confirm the new conditions of existence, so redirect your expectations to what approaches, not what’s leaving. Pluto is still giving us visions of the larger Light field we’re a part of, so look for your spiritual Brothers and Sisters who also shine on. See the truth, see the promise, imagine being released from old pressures no longer appropriate for where you’re at, and see the impermanence of all things. Practical compassion requires a specific focus. What’s yours? What is your purpose for doing or not doing something? Show good humor since a call to renewal is coming in June, so the space you create now will yield new productivity then.

Due to the position of the Nodes and recent eclipses, through our releases and eliminations we’re stabilizing our need for ease and simplicity through looking at the past we’ve buried since 2019. This is demonstrated through our ability to see time as a factor in what we’re building. As the growth is in Taurus, take an abundant view of what to let go of, since releasing old substance creates the space to attract new substance. Enjoy the process of releasing old toxic memories, or memories of toxic relationships in the past, since they need to leave.

As the Full Moon fulfills the themes of the previous New Moon, in this case the recent New Moon at 29 Taurus, we can use the “compare and contrast” themes of that Lunation to find productivity despite the recent instability which shook a lot up. We are still moving into a new field of action with people who are friendlier than the ones in the old field of activity.

As this Full Moon World Teaching has Sun in Gemini and Moon in Sagittarius, the Light of enjoying all there is to discover within and without in our spiritual life can be expressed through Sagittarius’ humor, sense of freedom, and a philosophical approach to whatever comes. This is the Light of a new “mind unbound” expressed through the adventure to come shown by the Moon. Because Gemini/Sag is the axis of the archetype of the Magician/Questor, we can learn and teach, experiment, see things objectively, and perfect our spiritual understanding of both high and low. Just remember there are many alternatives to examine before making a crucial decision.

The Sun in Air and the Moon in Fire shows a time of the Mutable Air (distributive relatedness and interactivity) of Gemini expressing its curiosity through the Mutable Fire (distributive inspiration) of Sagittarius. This is the second of three Full Moon themes focused on the individual and spiritual levels of our existence.

At this time, 4 planets are in the first third of their sign, 3 planets are in the second third of their signs, and 3 planets are in the last third of their signs. This indicates a slight emphasis in the actional-material field and a balance in the social/emotional field and the individual, mental, and spiritual field.

Why Are Full Moons So Important?

At a Full Moon, that which has opened since the previous New Moon surfaces in a public form, and heads toward the culmination and fruition symbolized by the second half of any cycle. First half, birth into form and field. Second half, culmination and completion of the purpose of that cycle.

That’s why it’s important to regard the New and Full Moon charts as “God’s Footprints in Time,” since one follows the other in an unending sequence of births of newer and newer seeds. The New Moons show us the seeds that will flourish under the reflected light of the Full Moon.

Full Moons heighten feelings, due to the opposition of the Moon and the Sun. We are now in a time of the year when the inner planets will be making oppositions to the outer planets from now through November. The 2 forming oppositions in this chart involve the Moon opposed the Sun and Venus in an out of sign oppositions to Pluto. Those oppositions are this chart’s “Tension of Opposites,” creating an “awareness generator” between 12-16 Gemini and Sagittarius and 27 Cancer-3 Leo.

Dispositors - What's the Backdrop to the Energies?

The Sun is in Gemini, making Mercury in Taurus its worldly ruler. Mercury is ruled by Venus in Cancer, ruled by the Moon in Sagittarius. The Moon is ruled by Jupiter in Taurus, which is ruled by Venus in Cancer. That means Venus, the Moon, and Jupiter are the final “Chain of Dispositors” ruling all the other planets except Neptune.

The Moon is in Sagittarius, making Jupiter its worldly ruler and Neptune its spiritual ruler. Mars is in Leo and is ruled by the Sun. Saturn is ruled by Jupiter, Uranus by Venus, Pluto by Saturn, and as usual, Neptune is a “standalone” planet, ruling itself.

By looking at how “chains of dispositors,” “final dispositors,” and “mutual reception” are in play between the planets, we get a clear picture of the backdrop for how each planet operates. The Magic of Venus: Friendships, Soul Mates, and Twin Flames

Venus in Cancer as part of the chain of dispositors and a key of the “Rhombus Diamond” makes it a very important influence these next two weeks. It’s on a degree of weighing alternatives at the threshold of a new cycle, so examine everything with an eye to getting a different perspective or understanding of how you got here.

At this time, Venus is in multiple configurations, as besides the Rhombus it’s also one of three points in a “5 Pointed Star” providing high specialization to any planets we may have around 28 Cancer-3 Leo, 10-15 Libra, 22-27 Sagittarius, 4-9 Pisces, and 16-21 Taurus. With Venus opposed Pluto, beware of deceptive people who are undermining your ability to get the results you want. Still, with the trine to Neptune, your feelings should be clear as you practice compassion to interrupt the usual cause and effect cycle. This can bring realizations and heightened intuition and connection with collective consciousness.

The Sabian Symbols for the Full Moon

This Full Moon World Teacher Festival falls at 14 Gemini and 14 Sagittarius. It is said that the second third (decan) of any sign deals with the social and emotional levels of life, and as the Lunation is in the second decan of those signs, invokes a sub-influence of Libra and Aries.

Since the Moon always focuses the light of the Sun in specific forms, the degree symbols for both are important. The Sun degree is the illumination or enlightenment of the Lunation, whereas the Moon shows us the potential forms that enlightenment will take. Though I’ve given you a sense of what this is about up to now, here’s where we go into detail.

The Solar Sabian symbol for the 14th degree of Gemini is “A conversation by telepathy.” In the Astrology of Personality, where Rudhyar uses the original Dr. Jones' class notes on the symbols, 14 Gemini is said to be a symbol of “Conscious mastery of space-time limitations of ordinary existence” and “realization of basic realities in all situations.”

We are told in The Astrological Mandala that this symbolizes "the capacity to transcend the limitations of bodily existence.” He offers that this is a degree of transcending our ego mind, or at least the part that was shaped by unconscious pressures and signals from our cultural matrix when we were young.

He infers this degree is about resonances within the larger Whole, which he describes as “the One Mind of humanity.” I would think it actually operates at the level of the Oversoul, or as I term it, “The Oneness Within Which We Are ALL Together.” It is a level of instant “knowingness,” or “straight Knowledge” as it is termed in the Agni Yoga material.

At its highest, this is pure telepathic resonance and instant knowing of whatever can be received. He tells us this is about a “technique of transcendence.” He says it falls in the Span of Zeal, and it’s the technical degree in the individual-mental level of the scene of Discovery in the Act of Differentiation.

According to Dr. Jones, creator of the Sabian Symbols, this degree is one of “the transcendent level on which human experience has its truest focus” in terms of self-realization. He says “there are illimitable ties between each individual” and everyone else, “providing the fabric for a fellowship of invisible sympathies or co-operations and making (us) sensitive at all times and at all points to the potentialities in which (we) may have a self-fulfillment.”

He offers us the keyword IMITATION. He states when operating in a positive manner, this degree “is an exceptional capacity for achievement through the more organic relationships of personality in given and pertinent connections.”

To elaborate a bit on 14 Gemini, we are told this attention to subtle mental and Soul impressions is a necessary part of our evolution, since we humans get distracted by the 5 senses and the mind. This is disorienting when we drop the body, since we will no longer have these as frames of reference. That’s why paying attention to subtle mental and Soul impressions while we’re here will be efficacious when we no longer are in our body.

The Lunar Sabian Symbol for the 14th degree of Sagittarius is “The Pyramids and the Sphinx.” In the original notes from the Marc Jones class on the symbols, Rudhyar says this is a degree of “achievement based in past greatness,” “power of the countless dead upon the living,” “vast resources in selfhood,” and “antecedents.”

In the Astrological Mandala he goes on to say this is a degree of "the enduring power of occult knowledge and of its quasi-divine Custodians, “Seed Men” of a previous cycle of existence.” He says the Great Pyramid and the Sphinx are symbols of an “Original Tradition based on the perfect knowledge of the archetypal principles and forms which underlie all manifestations of life on Earth,” and that this “archetypal knowledge remains the foundations upon which (our) minds can still build solid and valid formulations.”

He offers that “occult knowledge and the traditional process of acquiring it is still available, and that by accepting their principles modern (humanity) can best meet the challenge of our present world crisis. This symbol … points to the greatness of a Soul’s past achievements and the value of trying to re-evoke this past,” revealing “the power of spiritual ancestry.” He states this degree falls in the Span of Receptiveness, Act of Group Integration, and Scene of Abstraction on the Individual-Mental level.

Dr. Jones, creator of the Sabian Symbols, says this is a degree of “the ultimate criterion of reality provided by the common or physical world or normal experience,” as shown in our enduring works. He speaks of these works as “testimonials to human genius” across the world, and they “provide the fabric for a fellowship of creative capacity and give even the least of individuals an assurance and a self-sustainment as they continue to make a new or better mark on the face of events.”

He offers us the keyword CERTIFICATION. He offers that when this degree is operating positively, it indicates “effective practicality through a gift for bringing real imagination to everyday living.”

So the Light of this Full Moon global Wisdom Teaching illuminates the potential for pure telepathic resonance and instant knowing of whatever can be received. This is a technique of sending and/or receiving subtle mental and Buddhic impressions within the larger energy field.

This will be expressed by our knowledge of or return to ancient wisdom forms or our “spiritual ancestry,” where we can either find inspiration in the enduring inspired spiritual touchstones on our Earth, or we can begin to create these in our lives, or in the lives of others. Express your genius! Open your imagination, go deep into your ancestral wisdom, and bring it forth in an enduring form!

The Sun/Moon opposition in these signs shows us “The devil is in the details,” as we have been told from antiquity. Stay clear about the specifics and how it fits into a larger process. This one helps us pay attention to subtle impressions and establish lines of communication with others at a distance. The Moon tells us to embrace a blessing of greater truth, freedom, or possibility. We can now express a greater understanding, and can see how our wisdom has led our “horse of personality” to a “spiritual home.”

We’re in an Era of Overlapping Capricorn and Aquarius Cycles

As you know by now, we had numerous important long wave conjunctions in January 2020 which were set into motion in March 2020, including a 12 year cycle and a 33 year cycle! Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all made conjunctions in Capricorn in January and March 2020 which were activated by Mars in March 2020. Mars completed its run at its conjunction with Saturn at 1 Aquarius which also set long wave preliminary Aquarian structures into play which are expanding and currently taking shape.

We’re seeing the competition between the Capricorn and Aquarian cycles play out in the world between the regressives and the progressives, between the forces of control and the forces which resist control, and between the materialists and the idealists. The Capricorn cycles will be in play for many years to come, but by mid-century they will wane while the Aquarian cycles will have become dominant.

That “Great Compression” of planets in early 2020 created a very crowded house in a very narrow span of degrees, impacting where we have late Capricorn for many years to come. Add the three conjunctions of Jupiter with Pluto as it transited back and forth over the January and March degree points, and we’ve had a lot of long wave Pluto energies expanded which will show effects over the next decade! TransPluto, Divine Mother, and the Tests of Human Redemption

I’ve included this section for many years to keep you all aware of the workings of Divine Mother on our Earth in this Age in Transition. Rather than simply reprint it each month, I created this material as a separate article unto itself a while back. At the 2020 World Teacher Full Moon of Sun in Gemini and Moon in Sagittarius I gave you a universal prayer/meditation offered to us by the Tibetan Master D.K. in April 1945 at the end of the war. Tens of millions around the world do this prayer every Full Moon, tuning into the Whole which we ALL are together. I said it every day for many years, and still say it every Full Moon. (It was a real trip to see eyes suddenly open and/or lightbulbs go on over people’s heads when I did it countless times riding the NYC subways when I lived there in the early 80s!)

In 1976 I changed a few words to make it more universal. For your consideration,

The Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the mind of God
Let Light stream forth into the minds of All,
Let Light descend on Earth

From the point of Love within the heart of God
Let Love stream forth into the hearts of All
May Christ return to Earth

From the center where the Will of God is known
Let Purpose guide the little Wills of All
The Purpose which the Masters know and serve

From the center which we call the Human Race
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

Again, as I’ve offered you many times before, when you see the title "The Christ" if you are so inclined please substitute "World Teacher," "Bodhisattva," "Imam Madhi," "Krishna," “Kristos,” "Avalokiteshvara," "Maitreya," "Messiah," or any other term used to describe this Great Being.
