Following the Solar Eclipse in Libra of October 14, on Saturday October 28, 2023 at 1:24 PM PDT, we shall witness a Lunar Eclipse in Taurus (5º09').

Eclipses are always incredibly important times of major changes in our lives. Their sign is important, but more important are the houses, or areas of life, they fall in in our natal chart which indicates where those changes will be taking place for us personally. This eclipse encourages us to clear outmoded patterns related to possessiveness and a possible lack of self-esteem to find what makes us feel safe. At this time, our well-being is dependent on stability, patience, hard-work, and a steady routine. Seeking material comfort and financial security helps us ground ourselves. It is essential that we are clear on what we value, and what our talents and assets are. Improving our domestic circumstances by reorganizing our financial affairs in a serious, responsible, and pragmatic way helps us protect our own private interests.

We may also have to reexamine our health, as past, improper dietary habits could come and haunt us.

It is essential that we review our past achievements, express gratitude for our gifts, have faith in ourselves, and plan for the future. However, at this time, arrogance, over-optimism, an inflated ego, grandiose ideas, overestimating ourselves, and underestimating opposing forces could lead to conflicts with authority figures and prove quite costly.

This eclipse advises us to not start a new project before having completed previous endeavors. A disciplined, conservative, and concentrated attitude helps us fulfill our ambitions. To build a respected place in society, we need to manage our resources well, demonstrate some reserve, achieve moral strength, focus on worthwhile goals, and take courageous but calculated risks. Our abilities are put to constructive use and our financial affairs prosper by focusing on useful, practical objectives with diligence, honesty, and common sense. Working for religious or educational causes concerned with social welfare with an open-mind, generosity, and dedication elicits the help and cooperation of others.

The key is finding the right balance between stability and adventure, obligations and passion, and taking care of ourselves while strengthening the relationship we need for our emotional well-being.
