Dear Friends,

New Moon in Taurus is Friday, May 19 at 9:53 AM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).

The goal during this time is to nurture comfort, ease, security, and the release of tension. This moon is both energizing and contemplative. Tension is caused by the discomfort of growth, change and evolution pushing up against a great need for a break, a pause and some physical comfort and security. The best way to release tension is to move the body. Work with the earth, walk, swim, dance, and be physically active. Remember that tension can also push us to action where needed to move forward.

The sun factors in here as a source of power and energy, giving a boost and fuel to the fertility of the times. Pay attention to the solar plexis area, the third chakra, and invite the sun to empower your physical body and to bring a creative fuel to your fertile ideas, projects and vision. It is important to acknowledge what anchors you, what grounds you, and what gives you stability. This insight may come from needing to address any insecurities or ways you feel unstable in your life. What is important to you? It may be very different from what is important to others. Nurture and feed yourself with this comfort while pushing forward through the unknown step by step.
